Call Me Captain

Author's Note

A general misconception is that ADHD/Asperger's Syndrome is bad. If you have a son or daughter on the spectrum, you’re in for a hard life. If you are labeled on the spectrum, you're automatically not as good as other competitors. The hope for this novel is to depict how this reality discriminates against those diagnosed. By discriminating against disorders, we are prohibiting a child's success of trying something they are told they shouldn't do. We are putting a ceiling over someone's head where we should be reinstating that 'the sky's the limit.'
