We started making our a way to the cinema. As we were walking to the cinema, my phone started buzzing. Yemi had replied, my heart went, all these emotions started flooding back.

'Ok when do you want to see me?'

I was taken aback; no snarky remark. He was not giving anything away, I then decided to reply back later.

"What popcorn do you want?" Jerome said.

"Sweet" I replied.

He then brought a large drink and some sweets on the side.

"What film is it?" I said as we walked into the seating area.

"Some action thriller" Jerome replied.

2 hours later the film finished.

"That film was sick man." Jerome said as we walked out.

"Yeah" I nodded. To be honest I could hardly concentrate, watching the film. Everything was just swirling round and round in my head.

We decided to go to Nando's, Jerome paid for our meals.

I took a Clickchat of the meal as it arrived.

'Birthday gift from bae *heart emojis' I captioned it.

I could see Jerome staring at me.

"What" I giggled.

"Nothing just can't help staring at the beauty opposite me."

I blushed, but then a twang of guilt hit me straight after.

Here I am smiling at him, when all I am doing is hurting him bit by bit.
