As soon as he had said that my phone started ringing. I looked it was Josh as I had suspected.
I just stared at the phone vibrating in my hand.
"Just pick up the phone, before he gets real mad."
I picked it up, before I could even speak -
"WHERE ARE YOU?"
I did not answer.
"You're with him, I know it. COME HOME NOW."
"It's late, just leave her." I could hear Mel in the background.
"I swear they're fucking taking the piss. She needs to come home now, I don't care." I could hear Josh saying off the phone.
"You're making it worse, look at you." Mel was shouting.
"Just come home tomorrow." Mel said on the phone. I could hear my brother ranting and raving, in the background. Mel then ended the call.
I started crying again.
"Come, let's just go to sleep." Yemi said softly.
