I Cannot Sleep

I can't sleep. I can't sleep anymore. I haven't had a good night sleep in ten years, but truly, I cannot sleep anymore. I can't sleep with you running miles in my head.

I am Eve, and you are the forbidden fruit and serpent all in one. Eve was tempted and so am I. You are no good, for I am in the arms of another man, but my body only aches to kiss you and embrace you. I want you to run your hands down my waist to my hips. I want you to feel such ecstasy with me that you can't feel with anyone else.

But, I know that if I were to take that fall from grace, everything I know will die.
