Rhys has been waiting for this moment for what feels like all his life.

If there’s anything that he knows without a doubt, it’s that he was always going to do this. It was just more so a matter of when and what would finally push him overboard. Maybe it was Sara. Maybe it was very nearly flunking his third year of college. Maybe it was his fucking Christian family that he couldn’t seem to ax the roots of.

Maybe it was none of these things.
