I Will Make You Believe....

Ride

Josh

We've been at the hotel for nearly an hour and I still hadn't heard from Annabel. I was trying to decide what I wanted to do.

My thoughts were cut short by a knock at my door. I didn't even get up at first, but I did and ran over to the door so the person didn't leave. I frowned when it was only Tyler.

"Geez. I've never seen you so upset to see me." He pushed himself into my room.

"I've been hoping she would come knock on my door for the last hour..." I told him as I closed the door.

"She was pretty freaked out dude. You're probably gonna have to go to her." I sighed and sat next to him on the bed.

"No, I'm gonna figure out a way to really fix this..." I frowned when I looked at Tyler.

"I just want to hold her dude..." Tyler looked at me with a weird stare. He looked at me for a few minutes before he spoke again.

"You really fell for her. You love her..." I sighed at his words.

"I don't know... I just was thinking about it a few days ago and I was at a loss at the thought of not seeing her for two months. It was giving me anxiety..." Tyler seemed shocked at my words.

"Crap dude, you're like in love with her..."

"It look me a year and a half to get to this point with Debbie. I'm kinda worried..."

"Why be worried about it? Let it happen!" I stood up this time.

"I'm gonna take a shower. I don't know what to do, but hopefully something works out soon..."

Tyler left without another word. As difficult as it was, partially from lack of sleep and partially from how exasperated this situation had made me. I threw my bag up on the bed and grabbed shorts to change into after my shower and the toiletries bag.

Why did I tell her I was having anxiety over not being around her? Why couldn't I just ask if we could do something for Christmas or a trip after the new year or something stupid. I was mentally using words that I shouldn't be as I hopped in the show. The thoughts and mentally cursing myself continued the entire time I was in the shower. I was freaking out about what is going to happen. What if I get out of the shower and she's quit the tour? I would never forgive myself if that was the case. I would-

There was a knock on my hotel room door. I thought maybe Tyler had come back, but when it continued I had to respond. I jumped out of the shower and threw on the shorts I had laid out.

"Sorry I was-"

I was shoved back into my room by the mess of faded pink hair and the door was slammed shut. The small girl in front of me reached up and grabbed the back of my head by my hair and pulled me towards her, forcefully crashing our lips together. Instinct took over, and one hand went to the back of her neck while the other rested on her hip. She slowly push me back until I was against the door, but I wanted nothing in that. In a swift movement, I flip us around and slammed her into the wall to the right of the hotel door. Her response was to moan quietly into my mouth and the sound drove me wild. Both of my hands ran down her sides as things began to pick up and I ran my hands back up, bringing her shirt with it. Her arms raised and helped me lift the dripping wet shirt, from the water still on me, over her head.

Before she could reconnect our lips though, I realized what was happening and took a step back. She looked almost disappointed.

"Annabel, what are you doing?" She just chuckled.

"You're the one that started stripping me..." I just stared at the woman in front of me.

"What got into you?"I didn't dislike what just happened, but five hours ago she wouldn't even look at me.

"I fell for you too," I stared at her blankly," I didn't mean to scare you, this has just never happened to me before..."

My face softened immediately. I forget that she hasn't been in a relationship and she doesn't know what this is like. She's just trying to figure this out as I'm throwing it at her. I stepped back to her again and wrapped my arms around her. We were both now damp as I had never really dried off.

"I'm sorry I didn't understand. I'm sorry I forget that you're just trying to figure this out as we go." She just sighed.

"I'm along for the ride Josh, whatever it is that's going to keep this going. I'm along for the ride." I couldn't help but laugh before the words even left my mouth.

"Let's just take our time." She laughed with me.

"Taking our time on our rideeeeee..." She sang softly to me and we couldn't help but laugh.

"Does this mean we can still have date night?" I asked her after a few moments. She just nodded.

"Just lemme go change. Assuming this is casual because it's cold as frick outside." I nodded and gave her a quick kiss.

"I'm gonna finish showering and I'll meet you in the lobby in like 20 minutes?" She nodded.

"Where did you throw my shirt though?"
