I Will Make You Believe....

I want to know you...

Josh was pretty adamant in his ways, asking me the weirdest and most random of questions. Anything from colors to aliens was on the table and I couldn't help but smile the entire time I was with him. It was until 7 when my phone started ringing uncontrollably.

"Oh no I forgot about Trina!" We had moved to the couch, where Josh sat on one end and I sat opposite of him with our legs tangled together in the middle.

"Trina? Is that the friend you came here with?" I nodded and stood quickly, grabbing my jacket.

"Why didn't you just bring her back here?" I set my lips in a tight line.

"I never told her about our arrangement. She's a huge fan and I didn't want her to freak out about it?" He chuckled.

"She can't be that bad. You work in the industry, she had to be used to being around famous people." I groaned as I reached for the door.

"I'm gonna go watch with her." He jumped up.

"Text me after? or just meet me back here?" He swiped one of the passes up from the table.

"Ok, I'll be back." He threw the pass over my head and without a second thought I ran back to Trina.

They had pushed doors back, but I barely made it to the line in time to give in our tickets and for Trina to make me run to the front of the crowd.

"Explain where you went right now! I was about to start crying." The pass was neatly tucked down in the hoodie I was wearing so she wouldn't see it.

"I had a work thing. So, I'll actually be going on tour in three weeks." She groaned.

"Where this time?" We were beginning to get squished in with the crowd, just waiting for the first few bands to start.

"Europe again. Andrew said the last person on the tour the band is currently on can't do it anymore. He has to fly out to finish their US tour right now and then I'll take over until May when this tour ends." I smiled at her and she just groaned. I love Trina, but she can be childish at the worst times.

"Alright, I guess this is gonna be the last big hoorah we have until you get back so let's enjoy it yeah?"

Josh

She left me to sit in the dressing room wondering what I've gotten myself into. Our hour of talking told me she was very much like myself. She had a great sense of humor and she was an incredibly hard worker. God was she gorgeous too. After our reintoduction though, I knew better than to try anything anytime soon.

"Earth to Spøøky Jim..." I snapped out of my thoughts due to Tyler yet again.

"Sorry dude I was doing some thinking."

"Are you regretting what we agreed earlier?," Tyler sat down in the same spot Chips had been seated at just a few minutes ago, "We can change it if you're not sure-"

"She was just here," I cut him off," She went back to her friend to watch in the crowd." Tyler looked at me with a face of shock.

"Wait she was here, like she texted you?" I nodded.

"Yeah she was sitting right there, just a few minutes ago." He stared at me awkwardly for a moment.

"So what was it like man? Was she everything you thought?" I sighed and sat back against the couch arm.

"Actually, She wasn't..." Tyler threw his head back and groaned.

"She was even better..."

Chips

The openers were un familiar to me but they were pretty good. I made note to look them up later. Josh and Tyler were phenomenal. I couldn't help but sing along to the songs I've been listening to for many years. They absolutely killed it tonight.

"Hey, I'm gonna head up to merch, want anything?!" I asked Trina over the screaming fans.

"Yeah! A shirt, surprise me!" She handed me over some money.

While I was making my way out of the crowd, the boys came back out. I couldn't help but turn around and watch them for a minute.

"Ya know, I always tell everyone about a thing that happened in this very state a few years ago." The crowd cheered and I had to wait and listen.

"But tonight, Josh is gonna tell you about it." The crowd cheered as someone came out and handed Josh a microphone.

"So we had a show here two and a half years ago," He stopped and the crowd cheered again. I was leaning against the doorway as he continued, "It was in a basement. Tyler had to carry the piano down the stairs there." They cheered again and I realized that it was the show I last saw him at that he was speaking about.

"There was also someone really special at that show that told me we'd make it one day." The crowd cheered again as I felt my face heat up.

"That person is here right now, somewhere out in the crowd. So before Tyler finishes saying what he needs to say, I want that person to know that tonight and this song is dedicated to them. This is for my second best."

Tears came to my eyes as they played out the last song, the kids were screaming. That was before they were suddenly in the crowd and confetti was going everywhere. I was in shock, but I did continue up to merch.

Chips: Wow way to call me out...

I didn't expect a response right away, but as I was nearing the front of the line I had one.

Drummer boy: Well, I give credit where credit is due. lol. What are you plans for after the show?

I looked around at the merch while I was trying to think about an excuse to tell Trina. Part of me felt bad not wanting to have Trina come with me to hang with Josh, if we were doing that, but I knew I would have to ease her into this.

"Oh my god! That was so amazing!" Speak of the devil, and the devil will run into you like a brick wall.

Trina wrapped her arms around me and swung me from side to side while screaming. I was supremely excited for her, but she was gonna make me sick.

"Trina! Please let me go. You're making me sick." I laughed as she let me go and we resumed our spot in line.

"That was incredible! Thank you so much for that Chips, that was the best present ever!" She hugged me yet again and I could only smile. I loved it when Trina was happy.

She spent the entire line highlight the show and when we finally got up to the front I thought she was going to buy everything. Three shirts, a flag, all the accessories, it was ridiculous but I let her have her fun. I used the time to respond to Josh.

Chips: No, Trina is just up here buying all of your merch. So I'll have to help her get that back to the car.

She squealed as we started our walk out to the car. The five bags of crap we had were making my hands hurt, but I wouldn't dare ruin Trina's perfect day. In the middle of our walk though, my phone went off and I was scrambling to answer it.

Josh was calling me.

"Trina stop for a second." I dropped my bags on the ground.

"I just wanna get these to the car, you take the call and I'll meet you there." I nodded as she struggled with the bags but kept walking.

"Hey, shouldn't you be showering or something?" Just like that I heard water running in the back ground.

"Is that better?" He asked with a sarcastic tone to his voice.

"I mean it's weird that you're on the phone with me and showering, but that's your choice." We both chuckled together.

"I would understand if you said no, but we're no leaving for a few hours. I would really like it if you came and got food with us..." I sighed, my eyes drifted off in the direction Trina had just walked.

"I still have Trina with me. I don't have a problem with bringing her around, but I need to slowly walk her into this." He chuckled.

"We can handle it, just come to my dressing room. We can decide where to go from there. Yes, I will be fully dressed and done showering by the time you get here." I laughed again.

"Alright, if you're sure. We should be back over there in the next 15 minutes."

"Ok, just walk in. See you soon."
