I Will Make You Believe....

I want you to want me

Little Drummer Boy: I think I'm gonna win

Chippers: I can't believe the two of you did this...

Little Drummer Boy:I can dig tattoos

Chippers: Yeah, me too. I just can't believe you're letting Twitter decided such a stupid thing...

I typed the last message to Josh on my Macbook before continuing onto my duties for the day. I still had to finish advancing the merch requirements with the venues towards the end of tour. Plus I still hadn't started packing despite my travel in just three days.

Josh and I have spoken everyday since their show here in AZ. He had begged me and I told him that talking was fine, but he better not try anything anytime soon. I can't deny the feelings that I definitely had for him. Trina was thrilled at the idea as well. Everyday she asked me what I was gonna do about Josh and I couldn't help but blush each time she asked. She told me that if Josh and I weren't together by the end of the year she would be disappointed in me. Trina, however, knew that it was a long hard road for me to be with someone.

The message screen popped up again.

Little Drummer Boy: So we tied

My jaw dropped as I was shocked at the idea.

Chippers: So what happens now?

He didn't respond right away, and I figured that meant they were trying to decide the answer to that question. I went back to my emails between TM Jordan and I about my needs for merch in each city. We had strict requirements on the day to day accounting and merchandising space that I had to follow when I was working with Live Nation. Jordan was advancing my needs as the single point of contact for the package and I appreciated his attention to detail and such more than anything. I could tell it was going to be an easy tour.

After nearly five hours of silence from Josh, and Jordan letting me know he was signing off for the day, I decided to go downstairs and make dinner for Trina and I. She had been asleep all day, but tonight was her off night. She was going to want to do something.

With little in the kitchen, I decided to make us the vegetarian tacos she loves so much. Just as I was finishing up plating, she came downstairs.

"Did you make those tacos again?" I smiled at her as she came into the kitchen.

"Yeah, I leave in two days so I figured we could spend all night chillin'" She squealed.

"I'll get the pillows and blankets!" I was quick to stop her.

"First get the wine, let's just sit down and eat dinner before I get a work thing or-"

"Or your boyfriend calls?" She was seated at the island with a smirk on her face.

"We aren't even dating!" She scoffed.

"You guys can barely go a few hours without talking to each other! He's nearly identical to you and he's infatuated with you!"I rolled my eyes and handed her a plate of tacos.

"Trina, even if he knows everything about me...," I took a deep breath," I've never had a boyfriend..." She looked at me shocked.

"What about Adrien?!" I shrugged.

"I didn't like him. He was always trying to get me to come tour with him. I wasn't about that." She still dropped her fork as I went to get the wine for her and grape juice for me.

"What about Nick or Cameron? or even Zack?" I sighed. I grabbed glasses and poured the dark liquids for each of us before sitting down next to her.

"I won't date anyone in my industry and those that show interest have always tried too hard. Plus, my love life has always taken a back seat to my career. You know that." She took a huge gulp of her wine before turning back to me.

"I still can't believe it. You're strong, hot, and selfless." I scoffed. Trina used to always talk me up to her friends, but in the last two years she's stopped.

"No one has ever been worth my time or I've never been in a good enough place professionally. I work for one of the largest production and promotions companies in the world now. I'm turning down work left and right. Maybe now that part is something I don't have to worry about..." I pushed the food around my plate as I thought of reasons the would contradict the very thing I had just told Trina.

"I dunno, famous drummer aside, I think Josh really cares about you..." I sighed and looked up at her with a smile.

"Well, let's see what happens between now and when I see him next yeah?" She agreed with me on that. We finished eating and began gathering our fort supplies in the living room.

We were about to settle into our massive fort for movie night when my phone rang.

"Is that him?" Trina asked with a smirk. I rolled my years and stepped outside to answer.

"Hey, how did the poll go?" I answered as I sat down on our beach chairs that we had set up as cheap patio furniture.

"We tattooed each other." My jaw dropped.

"No way? I wanna see pictures!" He chuckled.

"You got it. I'll send one when we're off the phone." I smiled.

"So when are you flying out for that tour you're starting?"  He asked.

"I'll leaving on the 2nd, I have inventory coming in the next day while the band has rehearsals."

"Me too! but no inventory, just rehearsals." I chuckled.

"Must be nice to not have to count shirts all the time."

"Well maybe you should be in a band then." I began to pick at the rips in my leggings.

"Too bad I don't do well in front of a crowd. Oh wait, I also play no instruments." I lied and he laughed this time.

"I think you could do it. You could just take over for me one day..." I chuckled. I doubt it.

"Do you have the list of dates? Maybe our tours overlap somewhere?" I did have the list of dates, but I wasn't sure where to go with this still.

"I do, but I'm going to be super busy. The TM is so on point, I know he's going to expect the same thing from me." Josh remained silent. I had shut down all of his attempts to try and see each other again. He had to be growing frustrated.

"Maybe we can meet up when we first get in? Are you flying through London Heathrow?" He was still silent on the other end of the line.

"Earth to Josh?"

"Sorry, Just trying to process your request. I had a 404 service error." I couldn't help but laugh loudly at his nerd talk for a minute.

"Let me ask Jordan. He would know." My ears perked up at the name drop. Jordan was the TM I had been talking to for the last three weeks.

"Did you say Jordan?" I asked as I heard movement on the other end of the line.

"Yeah, he's our TM. He replaced Mike recently. Super cool guy." My mind was beginning to make connections that should've been obvious before.

"Hey, is there a guy named Andrew out as your merchandise manager?" The sound of movement on the other end of the line stopped.

"Yeah? How did ya know? We love Andrew."

"No reason, just wanted to see if it was someone I knew. Hey I'm gonna go. Trina wants to spend one night with me before I leave. I'll talk to you later ok?" He seemed disappointed, but said goodbye shortly after. I couldn't help but race inside, nearly knocking down a part of our fort in the process.

"Trina, you won't believe what band I'm going on tour with..."
