I Will Make You Believe....

I can't believe what lead you to me...

1 November 2015

Trina had just woken up for work. She was up a little earlier to drop me off at the airport. I had a red eye flight to London and then a second flight to Glasgow. The company was flying me over first class and paid for travel, thank you since those flights are nearly 2k.

"I can't believe you get to spend the next month on tour with them." I chuckled.

"I dunno, I'm taking it as a sign of fate."

Josh

The last show in St Louis was insane. I loved performing, but the whole having to get up at a ridiculous time to fly to the UK was killing me. We had to make a connecting flight through JFK and would be getting into Glasgow tomorrow at 10 am.

Through all of this, I hadn't heard from Chips at all in the last 24 hours. I knew she was flying to Europe for work as well and I was hoping to take this time to get her to ask me on a date. When she was ready of course.

"Why did we get a 3:30 am lobby call when we didn't get here until midnight?" Mark groaned from next to me.

"Dude, we're gonna nap so hard on these flights though. It's like jetlag won't even be a thing." Tyler chuckled next to me on the couch as we waited for the van to the airport to arrive.

"Dude exactly, it's really an opportunity to reset our sleep. I dunno about you guys but that's important." Tyler smiled at me and I couldn't help but laugh.

"So what's going on with yo gurl?" Tyler asked while everyone broke into their own conversations.

"I dunno, I haven't heard from her since I sent her pictures of the tattoos." He frowned a little bit.

"Maybe she didn't like your terrible handwriting." I pushed him.

"You're out of the band for hitting the talent." He fired back to which I only scoffed.

"Whatever dude. You're not gonna be able to switch my flights to someone with a different name." He made a thoughtful face.

"Jordan, can we get a new drummer for the Euro tour? This one gives a lot of attitude and it's really disrupting the good vibes." Our crew was very used to this by now.

"Yeah, I'll get right on that Tyler. Why don't we get in the van for now."

"Wait me too?" I asked. They just laughed as Jordan rolled his eyes.

"Told you." I stuck my tongue out at Tyler as we all packed into the van.

"Ok but really, do you think she's ghosting you?" He asked as the van started moving.

"No, she was getting ready to leave for tour. I'll probably hear from her in a little bit."

Sure enough, a text came through once we landed in London.

Chippers: When you see me, don't freak out and pretend you don't know me...

I wasn't sure why she would send me such a thing.

"Why the heck does that mean? Why did you pick such a weird one to be infatuated with?" Tyler asked me from his spot next to me. We were waiting for the ok to deplane.

"I like weird, you're weird." He gave me this goofy smirk.

"Hey man, I'm married now."He held up his left hand to remind me so.

"Exactly, don't make me third wheel you guys forever." Tyler couldn't help but chuckle at the sudden outburst.

"Ok dude, try asking her what she means."

"Thanks man, I hadn't thought of that." I patted him on the leg before responding.

Little Drummer Boy:What do you mean?

Only she didn't respond. I waited all the way up until after we check into the hotel in Glasgow.

"Did you get a response?" Tyler hoped up on my bed, making himself at home despite his room being next door.

"No, nothing yet. That's super weird. She's not like this usually." Tyler just smirked.

"What's so funny over there?" I asked him as I threw my suitcase on the floor by the bathroom and began digging for clothes. It was only 10 am here in Scotland so the guys and I had decided to go explore.

"I think it's cute that you already know so much about her. Remind me again why you haven't asked her out?" I sighed and stood with my toiletries bag and clothes in hand.

"She's just... not that kinda girl." He groaned and fell back on my bed.

"Why don't you go to your own room and get ready?" He rolled his eyes before doing exactly what I suggested.

The next time I saw him, we were all in the lobby.

"Is Jordan going with us?" Tyler asked around at our group.

"Nah, he's prepping for our new merch manager. She's gonna be here later tonight."

"Oh, are we still having a family dinner tonight?" Everyone nodded.

"She lands around 7, we're gonna aim for 8:30 at the restaurant here."

We spent the entire day exploring and just looking around the city. Tyler was telling me that Jenna would be joining us in Paris. We were also talking about changing up the rest of the US leg. Part of me wanted to do more stuff, but I was also trying to hold out for that.

By the time we were back at the hotel around 7, I was exhausted.

"Hey, I'm gonna go take a nap. Wake me up at 8?" Tyler nodded and went off to call Jenna.

I went back to my room and hoped I would get a response from Chips soon.

Chips

I was exhausted by the time I was in the van on the way to the hotel. Jordan had left my key at the front desk and all I wanted to do was shower and sleep, but the band apparently always requested a family dinner when a new crew member was introduced or a new tour started. I was the reason for the dinner this time. Jordan said it was really important that the band got to know anyone that was with them for the long run, especially someone that would be in their own bus.

Trina of course texted me asking if I had made it as well. I only responded with a simple yes before going up to my room. They were huge rooms with an amazing view of the city. My mind was more focused on a quick nap and then to rush getting dressed.

Of course, my quick nap turned into my waking up with 15 minutes before I had to be downstairs. I quickly took a shower, not washing my hair, and threw on a white long sleeve Amity Affliction shirt, black cut off skinny jean shorts, and some low rise black vans. I grabbed my key and went running downstairs at 8:40.

The band and crew were all seated at a massive table at the end of the room near the window. I couldn't help but freeze and take a deep breath before walking over.

"Hey! You must be Annabel." A man a good foot taller than me stood and hugged me.

"I'm Jordan, and these are the guys."

Everyone at the table stared me down, not in a mean way, just an inquisitive one. Everyone except Josh.

He looked shocked.
