Pink Instead of Purple

Enter

It wasn't her room. They said it was, and it was where it should be. But she couldn't believe it was.

Nothing was the way it should’ve been. The walls were a new color, a light pink instead of the purple that had been there for years. The curtains were changed and there was different furniture. A closer look at her photo collage reveled photos of places and events she didn't recognize. Around the room she saw clothes she didn't remember getting.

But that was the thing. She didn't remember. Amnesia had taken almost two months of memories. It was all new to her again.
