Beautiful Innocence

Intro

Her name was India, sometimes they would call her Indi for short. She lived right next door to me. I could see her beachy hair through the window every morning. She woke up as the sun rose and did her morning yoga. It seemed like she could stay in the same Natarajasana
pose for hours. Long arms stretching far, flexibility moving her into every position possible. Buddhist tattoo along the side of her ribs. Indi was known for her earthy soul, vegan diet, and her love. She converted that love into a passion. Every possible charity group around she was a part of. Save the planet, save the ocean, save the forest, save the whales, save the dolphins, save the bees. There was always something that needed to be saved and she was there instantly. Indi deserved a humanitarian award for all the work she did but none of it could save her.

She’s not dead if that’s what you’re thinking. She’s missing.
