Legs outstretched, toes curled into the blades of grass around my feet. We have brought blankets, but those have other uses - food and wine, a makeshift table for our feast. The sun beats down on our shoulders as we eat, and the buzz of conversation is as loud as the bees scouting the nearby flowers.

A shutter flash, and an array of smiles. A moment captured in eternity; a moment where we did not think of exams or of money, nor of the end - simply of the bond between the closest of friends, even if just for the summer.
