Arawin Arewing's world was destroyed the night she met the green-eyed boy with the crooked leg.
With her family gone and no one else to turn to except this strange, sarcastic individual, she finds herself questioning all she thought she knew about the beautiful world around her.
The Land of Elemor's greatest enemy has returned from the Realm of Dreams, leaving a string of blood-soaked mystery in the wake of the griffin's black wings. The king has long since abandoned his kingdom, the last Guardian is nowhere to be found, and a puppet villain's plot leaves Arawin homeless and lost in unfamiliar territory.
