Everlasting: Ardemon's Revenge.

Everlasting: "Ardemon's Revenge" The revival of the Supreme Lord.

The underground area where she brought him to wasn't big or small but he didn't get to see much as she leads him into a small square room and then to a set of doors with lights, circles that light up when pressed each one had numbers on them, there looked to be 10 circles but two had letters on them, one said GF and the other had the letters RE she pressed the eighth button, we stepped into a smaller room and then it began to shake, Ardemon started to feel ill as he had never felt this way before, it didn't take long but it came to a halt, she smiled at Ardemon and then pushed him off of the contraption. Ardemon stumbled and fell on his chest, he slowly got to his feet and crawled on his hands and knees to the wall in front of the strange machine they had gotten out of, he put his hands up onto some metal railing and pulled himself to his feet, he looked down as he stood up and realized he wasn't alone with his new strange hooded friend, there was an entire square that could easily fit three hundred people, this giant room had to have had space for an entire city.

Ardemon looked up and the ceiling had another floor above his, but when he looked up further there was a glass dome that was blocked by what looked to be trees, he could hear the rain as he hit the glass ceiling, but suddenly he was jerked by the woman that brought him here, she smiled with a wide grin and turned around and dug in her pockets and then turned to face him.

The mysterious lady looked at him and then introduced herself, "My name is Analiese! Welcome to the most unique village in Talga! but keep it quiet as no one knows about us okay?" she said with a sly smile, half bent over with a finger to her lips as if to say shhh, let's keep this quiet. She rambled on about how they found the strange metal door in the ground and how she was able to become an important person in the lower world. she then began to lead Ardemon down some stairs that came to a small landing and then turned leading to more stairs as they continued down the stairs the room opened up into a huge metro area as if a lost civilization had once lived had and now was forgotten, there were overgrown plants everywhere, tangled up every pillar that extended. Eventually, they made there way down all of the stairs.

They made their way to the center of the room where a large statue of a man with long robes, a large polished sword, he stood as if he was commanding, his arm outstretched with his palm open, an intense blue flame dancing in his hand. the other hand grasped the sword that looked like it had never been used, it strangely reminded him of his own sword but without all the nicks and grime. he also noticed that the ruby was shining brightly as his sword had always done that when he held it, but if someone else picked it up it would turn a dull black. he thought to himself. "Well at least they got that right, but how can my sword be here and there?" Analiese noticed him staring at the sword and then put his hand on his hilt of his own.

Before he could understand what was going on a crowd had gathered around him, they all stared at his sword in Awe. Analiese burst into excitement as she exclaimed loudly. "The day has come! the Lord would return! This is him! he has the grand sword!" a man walked up and grabbed him by his hand and pulled the blade free, he inspected the blade, everyone noticed the once brilliant ruby lose its shine and fade into darkness, Aredmon sprang up and grabbed the blade, the old man was relentless. "My lord! allow me to polish the blade and bring it back to life!" people shouted blessings and throwing flowers and pushing coins and other things into his pockets, Ardemon felt dizzy and fell backward his hand landing on the statue for support, then suddenly the world spun, the statue turned bright blue and then the world swirled and he was then reminded of his first time touching a portal stone. everything faded as he let go of the statue and then words of his grandfather echoed in his mind. "You must never let go of the stone until it has settled, you never know where you might end up." his mind drifted off to a place unseen as the world became silent among the chaos of everything that darkened.

So to explain the being that is called a supreme lord. There is no telling where one came from or how they thought themselves into our world, but to explain it lightly. One can be thought about and if it's strong enough one, it will appear to do the bidding of one who wishes is strong enough to be able to control the will of a lord or king, anyone with the blood of purity can have infinite power, once summoned by one with royal blood it could wipe out all existence with a wave of a hand, but many must have thought the world would end just like that. How could anyone think when a supreme lord is summoned to our world that everything could end in an instant but what they do not know is that each time in history, every king to rule or the wise man never used the same Supreme Lord.

So to show how many there are is to take a handle full of sand in the desert and toss it in the air and see if you can recognize even one grain of sand. Chances of finding a tiny pebble in the sand are very rare. You know the feeling in your gut when something isn't right? the feeling of complete disarray around every thought; that is the feeling you have when in the presence of a supreme, your mind is blank for moments at a time like you can't remember where you are and when at that moment you remember, but just before you blackout, you are either day ahead or you don't wake up at all, the thing is no one knows how you die but you can guess. It's like your entire body, mind, and soul are being forced through cheese grater with thought alone.

Lighting strikes the ground, everything twisting and turning forcing a small whirlwind of flame and sparks of electricity all colliding together until an explosive snap flinging cold and hot waves of painful air in all directions. a moment passes or so he felt like a second had taken but to his rising concern Ardemon wakes up face to face with the woman that had been following him, he stares a moment and reaches for his weapon as he pushes her off with one hand and leaps to his feet to find that his scabbard with his sword had been leaned up against a wall to the far side of the small room. Now that his vision became clear, he stared as the room stood up, he fell against the wall behind him and used it as to regain strength in his legs, he watched her as she also stood up and brushed her self off, in her hand was a leather string no thicker than an inch with two rings hanging at the end. She looked at him with tears in her eyes, those hollow blue eyes that gleamed back at him, he recognized those blue eyes and he looked away thinking, "It's not possible, why did I think that? Why does that feel so familiar?".

A moment passed and she wasn't making movements and her breath as silent as a whisper, he was at her mercy. The once frightening face had shown empathy as she had his sword, she had his rings, but why did she have them, he had tossed them away in a lake months ago, yet there they are in her hand as she grasped them tightly, her lips look as they were quivering, her chest rising and falling along with her rigid clothes that seem to be slick with sweat or maybe rain? she was upset but she didn't show any signs of being hostile, he looked around the small room, one bed, a few hand paintings, A nightstand that looked to be made from vines woven tightly around a table stand, the surface was moss stone with a thin layer of glass to add to the finish of the stand, other then that he saw the room was particularly well kept, he looked back at her as she lunged at him and in an instant, he closed his eyes and waited for her to finish him off.

He felt a sharp pain on his chest area, he lifted his hands in the air and put them behind his head as the air left his lungs, he fell to his knees soon as the pain struck, he opened his eyes and a few moments went by and he could see over her shoulder, he could see everything flashing as his vision began to blur and then focus or maybe that was the hanging light that seemed to swing back and forth, he looked down and saw she wasn't attacking.

instead, he sighed in relief and then he felt her hands slip around his waist and up his back, he felt like this was right but he quickly jerked his thoughts away and grabbed her shoulders and pushed her back, he blue eyes stared up at him as if she was in pain, that something he did had hurt her, she stared and in a flash, her frown was gone and a terrifying grin swept over her face, her blue eyes fading to a dark green, familiar he thought as she begins to speak, "Welcome back." she said with a dark tone, she quickly placed her hand to his chest.

in a moment as if everything was so deadly silent, he stopped a moment and he could feel his heart beating in his ear and then a shock wave of pain and a jolt of pressure blasted him right in the chest, large splinters of wood and other debris flew around him as he was thrown through the wall, he was flung a good 10 yards before he was startled awake as if he had been asleep he was staring up at the sky, he could feel the rain pelting him.

He couldn't see anything but blackness, he thought he was blind at first but he then he looked around and finally saw a light at the end of a tunnel, he begins to survey the area to find it wasn't a tunnel but the hole in the wall where he had broken threw from that woman's hand, he didn't know but he yelled out. "Listen I'm sorry if I did anything to upset you! please let's talk about this.." he was cut off as lightning lite up the sky and in front of him she was standing off to the side just a few feet so he couldn't see her entire form but her feet, she was holding his sword; Not far from here was the scabbard and belt on the ground as if she had been debating whether to kill him or to leave him lay.

she put the sword up and began walking toward him, the lightning faded from the sky, the splashes of water echoed into the night, he could hear her walking as if in a trance; slowly backed away on his elbows as she now stood over him as the sky was filled with thunder. He stopped staring, a roar in the distance and the rain beating down on, drenched from head to toe, her eyes said kill but her body said wait please stop, she swung the sword down as he screamed out, "Wait! don't! listen to me!" her sword slammed into the ground beside him as tried his best to dodge her attacks. The sky went dark as the light faded once more back and forth through each flash he had enough time to barely move out of the way as the lightning was the only thing keeping him from being skewered with his own sword. she swung through the air trying to slice his throat but he backed away just in time.

How long can I keep this up, how much longer until she gets the best of me, "please think about.." he is cut off again as she mindlessly threw the sword with each swing. "Hard to talk if you keep trying to kill me!" she stopped and in an instant dropped the sword as if she had been struck by lightning, the sword stuck in the mud beside her as she fell to her knees and her hands on her head, lighting flashing and then fading, he felt a warmth suddenly overcome him and in a moment he bolted to his knees and jumped grabbing the handle of the sword, everything beginning to light up as if the lightning had struck nearby, he could hear her react as he moved around in the chaos, static and sounding of something close steam and metal scrapping. as if sounds so frightening had been mixed into one and was now hitting him, his hands fell onto his belt with the scabbard as everything hissed to life and in the blink of his eyes he was laying on a stone floor.

he was still wet but in the same position as when he had last remembered, the sounds fading and the warmth begin to slowly dissipate. The world flooded into his mind, circles of colors whirl pooled into sight, and began to slowly adjust. He looked around and saw he was somewhere he had been before, but how he got there was beyond him. "Fuck!? did I just light travel?!" he thought to himself. A woman suddenly entered the room and she rushed to his side, she grabbed him and turned him over on to his back and she minded his wounds, he looked down and saw he had been slashed a few times, "Beatrice! what's going on!? where am I! how did I get here!! Beatrice! answer me!!" Beatrice? how do i know this person? who is this?! he thought to himself as her voice boomed in his ear "Lord Ardemon! are you alright!? why are you covered in sweat?! are you ill again? why are you injured?".

she cradled him as she hovered her hand over his wounds mending them with the forces of magic, skin reattached; growing back as if his wounds had never taken place, she held him close and two men walked in, Beatrice spoke to them, she knew them but why do I feel I also know them he thought to himself as he slowly faded, he could hear words though there were jumbled and missing vowels, he was only hearing half of what they were saying as the light and sound begin to ring in his ear but he could make out. "Don't.. fall asleep.. lord! please! Wake up!!" following that a clap of sound, he snapped awake and there are people standing around him in a crowd. The sky? his eyes dart around to each person, He is certain that he is outside. The breeze and the fog from the dense air now falling from the sky and landing on the ground like sheets of paper falling, the cloudy sky above him; faces he had never seen before, an old and young lady staring at him caught his attention as he lay.

The old woman hanging over his face, she smacked him again and he sat up almost hitting the elderly woman in the head, she gave him a death stare and then held up her hands as if saying I'm done I did what I could and then pushed her way through the crowd, in a hushed whisper she muttered "Damn drunken.. fools in armor up to their eyes..." the crowd awed over him, the woman's ranting and muttering drowned out by the entire square of civilians, yet no one knew who he was, he couldn't tell why he sat up and saw he was in black armor. Wait this armor was fresh! black leather and the shiny polished black armor plating, this was none other then Clayith's armor, the hand of god or so to speak. the man who was said to have killed thousands of men in one night on the last summer solstice.

He pushed off of the ground as he tried to stand up and was helped up by two stronger looking men, one with long black hair down to his shoulders; his eyes met for a moment but he looked away. where have I seen these eyes before, this man is someone I know. he thought to himself but something was different, Ardemon's sword was different. the two men helped him to his feet, but something grabbed his attention, he looked up and could see a pillar of smoke yet he wasn't panicked or scared yet he stared at the mountain thick white smoke which meant the fires were out, his attention turned back to his blade, it was the same old sword but it glistened as he drew it from its sheath, the familiar ring filled the air as if it was brand new.

This sword was a family heirloom and it was now shiny and didn't look dingy, the handle looked to be silver, leather-wrapped up to the crossguard, but the pommel wasn't gold and something else he found interesting. the butt of the sword was what looked to be a blood ruby, it glowed red like burning embers of a fire, but each moment that passed light began to illuminate the length of the blade to the point, it looked as if it hadn't seen a day of rust, the entire time he had owned it until now it had been banged up and rusty. He looked up shocked as the crowd began to disperse, his clouded mind scrambled to understand what had happened, the foggy mist landed at his feet; he looked up at the sky and said to himself " this can't be...".

Appearances can be deceiving but this was no illusion, what he was seeing was real. what he was feeling was real, he had become something more than just Ardemon Eulitheis from the wooded place called livga.. it was only a few months ago when he made the big move to Nar'dith to live because of his father, but now he had finally found a place to call his own he lost everything that ever mattered.
His thoughts were hazy but there was a nagging feeling he couldn't put his finger on but something bad was coming his way.

Ardemon began to feel a sudden boost of confidence or maybe it was the armor he had on that made him feel invincible, The smoke was close, it was seeping through the trees and crawling across the ground into town, shadowy figures became clearer as goblins and orcs stepped through the thick clouds of smoke, five or ten became ten or twenty. then in a sudden burst of screaming and then hundreds of bloodthirsty creatures along with the orcs and goblins. the people of the town had suddenly noticed and started to flee inside and close their doors, the horde started flooding into the town cutting down villagers left and right, tossing torches onto the homes of the innocent citizens of the town. doors being cut, smashed, kicked down and their owners dragged into the streets and speared through, heads smashed in. A long demon with a large fin all the way down its back hovered through the air scooping woman and children.

Ardemon Could hear the Rampage down the street, he started to make his way through the streets but the crowd made it hard to get anywhere. Soon he was pushed onto his back but the two men that had helped him up had run across the street to the weapons store and passed out weapons to the men capable of fighting, soon the streets were clear, Ardemon got to his feet and the last few stumbled through a street that leads to the center of town, followed by the first wave. The first orc sprinted up to Ardemon and suddenly a golden arrow flew in front of his eyes and went clear through the orcs head, Ardemon looked to the right and saw a thin man with a hood that covered his face but not long enough to conceal his long blond hair.

A dozen or so gathered behind Ardemon and soon the blood bath ensnared, A dozen orcs and goblins running straight towards the small vanguard of men, with one swing the small cluster of Orcs and goblins were decapitated. He felt good, the sword had mowed them all down and without any hesitation, he became empowered; Ardemon broke formation and walked forward cutting down enemies left and right. Turning to slice through a bulky orc, he caught a glimpse of himself. Bright Red-Miasma vibrated around the blade of his sword. Around himself, Purple and red Sparks discharged from all around him as if he was generating the Electrostatic Aura but that's not what scared Ardemon, it was his eyes. The man that stared back at him had red eyes like a demon. He continued to stare as the horde continued around him, blood splashing him from the brutal skirmish that ensnared behind him. He realized he had become drunk on power and it frightened him.

Ardemon's kept staring at the reflection as the battle behind him resumed without him. Every orc, goblin or demon that ran by ignored him as if he wasn't there. The eyes only kept growing more brightly and as did the fear, the anxiety subsided. He only felt the overwhelming pressure grew inside, losing focus he turned around and the invading forced stopped and the ones that were behind him turned and glared at him, their gazes twisted to fright and turned tail and retreated. The street in front of him had what looked to be around two hundred enemy soldiers easily.

Ardmon pulled the sword to his face and feeling a blistering surge of force build up inside of him, with what seemed like time slowed down, He prepared to swing his blade. A voice inside him told him the words to activate his newfound power as if he knew the words he whispered. "Arc blade..." with a mighty right swing a lightning storm poured from inside of the sword hitting the buildings, striking each enemy, and in a moment; every hostile in the road was reduced to ash.
He replayed it over and over what had just happened in his mind but still, he couldn't figure out how he had done it. From what he could tell they all retreated.
