Youngblood

Chapter 18

The four laying in Lucy's bed woke with a loud shout at around 9am the next morning.
"Lucy what the fuck?" One of her brothers yelled. She sat up, hair messy, and disheveled.
"What?” She snapped
“You’ve got four random lads in your bed?” Max pointed out. Lucy rolled her eyes, climbing over mike to get out of the bed
“They're my friends, they were over from America and they said they'll come with me today as support so I said they could stay here," she answered "but it was midnight and I didn't think anyone would want to be woken up for formal introductions then, so fuck off out of my room," she added, groaning as he left to tell her dad.
“Fucking snitch,” she muttered as she got up and locked the door.

"I have four brothers, that delight was Max," she muttered "then two step brothers on my mums side who're here," she added, scowling a little at how she had been stuck in the house for a week with six brothers. She quickly changed into a black dress, unfazed by the presence of her friends. She opened the door with a smile for her dad, gesturing for them to get out of bed. He walked in and looked them up and down
"Friends from America?" He asked. She hummed and sat down to quickly apply a little makeup. Tré stepped forward, clearly knowing this wasn't a time to mess around and held out a hand
"Frank, Frank Wright sir," he introduced, causing Lucy to turn and stare at him for a moment in astonishment. Her dad took in his appearance, baseball shorts, a massively oversized top and bleached blonde hair sticking up in all directions from sleep. He nodded and looked at Mike, then Billie as the two introduced themselves
"Lucy go see if any of your brothers have something these three can borrow," he ordered. She got up and rushed around her siblings rooms, coming back with a black shirt for them each
"We all have black jeans in the van," Tré told them with a smile. Lucy's dad nodded in approval, then turned to his daughter.
"Lucy you're on breakfast because you added to the mouths to feed," he told her "you three get dressed," he added, pointing at her three friends before leaving. Billie breathed out as soon as he did

"Your dad is intense," he commented. Lucy nodded and grimaced.
"This is him on a good day, I can't wait to get out of here again," she answered, standing up to make breakfast and smiling at her three friends.

Serving up toast for everyone, considering her dad was consistently good at 'forgetting' about Lucy's vegan diet, she sat at the big table, slapping her younger brothers arm as he took food from her place
"Fuck off this is mine," she snapped, eating as quickly as she could. Billie smiled and sat beside her
"How'd I look?" He grinned, Lucy chuckled
"Very..you," she answered, meeting his eye for a moment “it works,” she added, grinning and getting up when her food was finished. She paused for a minute "by the way, my brothers, you know George obviously, this is John, Richard, James, Max and Lenny," she told her three friends "all Beatles themed because my mum was obsessed as well as my dad," she added, smiling and going upstairs to get ready.

"James doesn't have anything to do with the Beatles does it?" Billie asked, Lucy turned around to see him leaning against her doorframe.
"Paul's real name is James," she murmured, standing up and smiling. She looked at Billie for a moment "I really missed you guys," she murmured, going over to hug him. Billie hugged back and nuzzled into her neck, closing his eyes.
"You should come home with us," he answered, Lucy hummed as they stood, holding each other and just enjoying the moment. Until George ambushed them with his Polaroid that was. Lucy glared at him, snatching the photograph and wafting it until it developed
"I'll let you off because it's kinda cute," she told him, smiling and showing Billie the photo.
