She always grew up knowing right from wrong. She had a good heart and many took advantage of that like her ex boyfriend for example. She thought he was a good guy but then his true colors came out and turns out you can’t save someone that doesn’t want to be saved.
Her best friend had set them up together. She was head over heels in love with him for the first few months. He was perfect. She thought he was the one for her but then suddenly, he did a complete 360.
The drinking started and soon enough the abuse started. He may have never laid a hand on her but his words were vicious enough and sometimes that’s worse.
He would always yell at her and try to start arguments with her. She did everything for him and in the end it was never enough. When she finally got her job back, she finally decided enough was enough.
In the end, she learned not to take anyone’s bullshit. She refused to let herself get that low again. She was going to come back stronger than ever and that was a promise.
