Summer Vacation
On the last day of painful school, Sylee hears the bell of Summer Vacation! Everyone is rushing out of the school, throwing paper, emptying backpacks, and many other fun for them yet not the staff things. The teachers in each class are yelling at the students to stop running, yet only one student listens, which happens to be the nerd in class 15, same as Sylee. Sylee is actually pretty popular at her school, Neven Rights 9th-12th. One of her friends Mako runs up to her and says
"Have a great summer, Sylee." She nods and says,
"You too, weirdo." She jogs to her bike and rides home. Passing her green dumpster, she throws her old, ripped backpack in there and closes the lid happily. Her dog, Jeffries runs up to her and licks her on the face. She unlocks the door and closes it shut. She calls out to her mother, Shaylee,
"Mom, I'm home!" She didn't answer though. She walked to her room, looked in, and saw her mother on the floor covered in blood!
"MOM!!!" she ran to her mom and saw that she had a note in her hand that read, "Dear Sylee, I know times have been rough, but I want you to know, I'm sorry for doing this to you. It was this or you. It was Marion's fault. I'm gonna miss you, Daughter. Have a yet mistake filled but happy life without me. Your Mother, Shaylee." She felt tears run down her face, but quickly wiped them away.
"Such a great start to my summer vacation...What other mysteries are coming my way?" she thought.
"Have a great summer, Sylee." She nods and says,
