The Day I Died

Daybreak is a tiny town in West Texas currently in the process of drying up and blowing away. Charlie Rivera would give anything to get out. There's just one problem... There aren't many opportunities for a blind woman from the wrong side of the tracks to pull up stakes.

One night, while walking home alone after dark, she is accosted by a stranger who smells of peppermint candy and pulls her down a rabbit hole into a world she could never have imagined with four simple words: "You're going to die."

Can she avoid the destiny that has been laid out for her? Or can she challenge fate and write her own story?
