The Darthon

Surrounded by the Darthon, a misty forrest where danger lurks at places it's both expected and least expected and only the bravest dare step foot, the village of Homestead is the only known place where humans have existed since the beginning of time... Or so it was thought until an infant boy, William being his name, is discovered beyond the outskirts of the village under very odd circumstances. Growing up with no family or friends and blamed for mysterious deaths he has no memory of, William's dream is to find civilisation outside of Homestead village- the place he was born and belonged. But how could he, a fourteen-year-old boy, hope to fulfil this ambition when three millennium's worth of fully trained Darthon-travelling Scouts had failed? The answer: He'd have to become a scout himself and search for this other land himself. Or die trying.
