Iris Cooper is from a semi wealthy family in southern UK. Her father a rich man and her mother a gypsy. After a family controversy she decides to leave altogether.
Setting her sights on Birmingham she intends to start a new life with a not no honest way of living. With skills she has learnt from both her rich family and gypsy family she intends to make her money a very specific way.
She is soon surveyed by the Shelbys. They may need her skills for a job, and she might need their protection.
