The Strange Case of Mr Hyde and His Assistant

I went to start walking but as I was passing an ally I was grabbed. I gasped but relaxed seeing it was Hyde. I shoved him off and crossed my arms
"Grab me like that again, and you'll be breathing through a tube tomorrow morning"I said bitterly.
“What was that?”He asked in annoyance. I shook my head in surprise for a second before snapping out of it and frowning at him.
“I don’t work for you anymore remember?Now let me go…”I said sadly but he wouldn’t let me off of the wall
“Let me go Mr.Hyde”I said coldly
“How could you be with the Dark One?He's my enemy he's the reason for all my greif”He asked me almost sounding hurt. I laughed a little
“Does it sting?Does it hurt to know that the reason I'm in another man's arms are because of your own selfish actions”I asked smirking. He glared
“Yes..as a matter of fact it did”He admitted making my eyes widen. I looked around
“Where’s the Evil bitch?”I asked curiously
“She had to go do something...she’s got her own agenda...I told her to go without me...I waited for you..”He said finally letting me go. I rubbed my left shoulder
“So...you do have a heart in there”I said with a small smile. He raised a brow
“What are you talking about?”He asked and I laughed
“Have you really never experienced jealousy before?”I asked with a smirk
“Jealousy?What would I have to be jealous of?”He asked offended.
“Well you did just admit to the fact that seeing me kissing Rumple bothered you.. Either you’re jealous of him kissing me...or you just can’t stand to see me happy”I said staring at him angrily.
He sighed
“I told you before...I can’t give you what you want...I’ve...been in love before..it ended badly...I don’t want to ever feel that vulnerable ever again”He said getting closer to my face. I blushed
“I don’t plan on dying anytime soon..I told you that the day I met you.If you can't give me what I want then what the hell are we even doing right now Hyde?”I said bravely. His eyes widened
“What makes you think-”
“Jekyll told me about Mary a long time ago...but...that was your business and your pain to bear…. But let me tell you something Mr. Hyde….you’re not the only one who’s lost someone they’ve been in love with….you’re not the only one who’s had to bare that pain alone…all these years you've known me and you still have no idea what I've gone through before you”I said turning my back to him. I looked down at my ring on my pinky..the red ruby..my engagement ring from Alex…
“What..are you talking about?Why was Cora really after you all those years ago?”Hyde said making me turn to him...his eyes softened seeing tears flowing as I smiled up at him
“Alex...was his name...I was in love with a stable boy..judge me if you will but it was real….apparently my love reminded her of her daughter Regina….she ripped out Regina’s lover’s heart...so she did the same to Alex….she wanted to adopt me...she was insane...she made my brother mad for a long time.. until Jeff met Alice...all everyone has ever wanted from me was to use me...even you”I said looking up at him with glassy eyes
“I..I had no idea that’s why she wanted you dead…”He said in shock and confusion
“Well there’s still a lot you really don’t know about me..but then you’ve never taken the time to find out about your measly assistant...if you’ll excuse me now..this conversation is going nowhere and I’m really sick and tired of crying...like the child you think I am and I have to go meet Belle”I said angrily and went to walk away but Hyde pulled me back and pushed me up against the wall. A breath of air escaped my lungs in shock.
“Wh-what are you doing?”I asked blushing as he stared me in the eyes with the most serious face I’ve ever seen him make. My heart began to thunder in my chest and a blush creeped up.
“Something I should of done a long..long time ago”He said and kissed me deeply. I gasped in the kiss, letting him penetrate my mouth with his tongue. I slowly closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing back. We stayed like that for what seemed like forever….until he finally pulled away, our foreheads touching
“I...have to go..”Hyde said sadly. I bit my lip sadly
“I’m headed to the docks to see Belle...you’re not going to hurt her right?She’s pregnant Hyde”I said looking up at him. He kissed my forehead
“I’m not the one that’s going to hurt her….you know that..but...you should stay close to her Jessica, understand?”He said as we started walking to the sidewalk again
“I’ll stay with her until you can kill Jekyll...something tells me she’ll be running into him soon and he’s not going to care that she’s pregnant” I said bitterly. We were about to go separate ways when I gave him a look of wonder
“What made you change your mind to give into me?”I asked tilting my head to the side. He gently ran his finger under my chin, making me blush again
“I simply just couldn’t fight back these feelings anymore...I couldn’t stay away from you...after seeing you again after 2 years...I didn’t want you to ever leave my side again…” He said gently taking my hand and kissing it. I smiled, my eyes getting glassy from the emotion running through me.
“I’m not going anywhere...maybe...after all this is over...we could...start planning for our lives...together?” I asked with hope in my eyes. He smirked kissing my forehead again.
“We’ll talk more on the subject after this is over...right now we have to figure out a way to completely sever the tie between Jekyll and I so when he dies..I won’t. If he is killed I die too” He said making my eyes widen
“I’ll start right on that tonight boss man”I said smirking. He smirked
“Maybe Belle’s book smart can help you as well. We need to break that last string attached before it’s too late..”He said and I nodded
“Right. I’ll head over there now and start looking in the books for anything, even if magic is needed I’ll talk to Rumple-”
“I don’t want the Dark One’s help”He said bitterly. I rolled my eyes
“Look you two have the same goal...keeping Belle and I safe from that maniac Jekyll..am I wrong?”I asked smirking. He sighed in annoyance.
“I suppose not..but please..anyone else but him atleast try first”He said. I groaned
“I’ll see but if I can’t then you’re just gonna have to deal with it”I said and hugged him. He hugged back and we stayed like that for a minute. I took in his scent of cologne and felt bliss.After a moment we finally pulled away and looked at one another longingly.
“I’ll see you later?”I said with hope
“I was hoping you’d share your room with me..I’m getting tired of spending the nights with the Evil Queen in the same room”He said making me laugh.
“Sure, meet me at Granny’s at let’s say 9?”I said looking over at Granny’s down the road.
“If I must”He said and I smiled
“Good...see ya then”I said but my eyes widened as he pulled me close and kissed me again. I closed my eyes kissing back but this wasn’t as long as the last
“Go on then”He said smirking, making me laugh
“But of course, Mr. Hyde”I said doing a curtsy. He chuckled as I waved once more before walking off.
