The Strange Case of Mr Hyde and His Assistant

Start: I groaned waking up in a forest….
“What the hell”I said groggily as I stood wobbling. I leaned on a tree to balance myself. I looked down at myself, I was wearing the same clothes as I was the last time I saw…. Him…
My heart thundered..but where had he gone? Where had everyone gone? Could this be…. Storybrooke?
“I’ve got to find him…”I said as I started looking around but everything in the forest looked the same. Trees upon trees….
“Damn...wait...please tell me I still have it on me”I said digging through my pockets of my black dress. I gasped feeling a card in my hand. I pulled out the Ace of hearts. I sighed relieved with a smile.
“Alright brother...this better work….find the Mad Hatter”I said and threw the card up in the air… it fell to the ground
“Awe come on!”I said aggravated but then it started to glow a crimson color and then it shot up in the sky. I put my hand over my eyes to try and see through the sun in the trees but it was gone.
“I hope he finds me...I’ll just...stay here...I guess”I said looking around biting my lip. I sighed and sat down on a fallen tree and started digging in my pockets….my eyes widened feeling something cold and metal in my hand. I pulled it out and saw a silver bracelet with a female deer, a doe, on it. My heart felt heavy just looking at it. I closed my eyes holding my head trying to remember the last thing I remembered before waking up here….
(flashback)
I was in a cage….I just had met 4 people saying they were from some land called storybrooke.. Snow White, Prince Charming, or David, Captain Killian Hook, and the Wicked Witch of the West, Zelena...I was about to break into the very place I had escaped from 2 years prior to free a friend...In the two years I was gone I managed to discover the key ingredient my friend needed to make his serum work and be free forever...and then we can get the hell out of here...but we were caught by Jekyll and the guards...and put in separate rooms in cages…. Then I got to see him...again…
“Jessica?I thought you escaped what happened how did you get caught?”He asked me. I looked down sadly
“I came back for you...Mr. Hyde...I simply wished to..repay a debt...you saved my life...I wanted to save yours and...I found the ingredient you need to finish the serum..I never stopped working on it...”I said sadly. He sighed walking to my cage
“You foolish girl...you shouldn’t of waited for me….what ingredient?”He asked gently touching my cheek through the cell. I smiled
“I was your assistant after all...I didn’t feel right leaving you behind...I couldn’t..but I caught wind you were coming close to a cure and when I found this ingredient I had to come back!I was going to come for you the moment you were freed and use these people to go to a new world.. they said they’re from a place called Storybrooke… Mr.Hyde my brother lives in that world...and my niece...it’d be perfect.. It’s a world with no magic other than storybrooke...we could..be really happy there”I said blushing
“We?”He asked with a raised brow stepping back, withdrawing his hand to look at me
“I-I didn’t mean it like that!I mean you’d be able to get away from him and y-you could have a more relaxing life, and I want to go to see my brother and my niece Gracie!That’s all!”I said starting to get defensive and crossing my arms with a pout. He chuckled staring at me for a long time.
“Yes, of course, this new world sounds..nice...we’ll use these people to get to this world, and hopefully I can kill him before we go..but for now I have to go….I promise you won’t be in here much longer..show me the ingredient”He said looking guilty. I groaned
“The sooner the better but I’m afraid you won’t be able to use it because it’s dried up… but I believe if we leave it out for Jekyll to see, he’ll see you were on to something, go get this fresh, and create the serum...you can catch him by surprise if you let him think he has a chance to knock out a guard, then the guard can follow him and restrain him while, once you’re free, you can finish the task at had”I said smirking up at him. Hyde smirked
“I do like the way your twisted mind thinks my little Doe”He said gently ruffling my hair. I smiled handing him the purple flower.
“I told you I’d find a way now hurry up and get me out of here soon”I said pouting.
“You have my word..Jessica”He said softly, sending butterflies up my stomach. I gulped and nodded
“Alright then...I trust you..of course..Mr. Hyde”I said blushing
“You came here in a valiant attempt to save me...I think you’ve earned the right to just call me Hyde”He said smiling.It was a ghost of a smile, but it was still there. I smiled brightly
“Well, see you soon then...Hyde”I said sitting down on the floor and getting comfy.
“Sooner than you think”He said and with that he left…a couple hours later, I everything went black...and here I was….

(end flashback)
“I don’t really remember much after that….but...this doesn’t look like the enchanted forest...the trees are far to small...and this doesn’t look like the world of untold stories….the trees are too alive…..could I be….-”
“Jessica?!Where are you?!”I heard my brother’s voice echo in the woods.
“Brother!Brother I’m over here!”I yelled to him looking around frantically.
“Don’t move!Keep talking to me!”He called back
“How the hell did I get here?!”I yelled in confusion
“How the hell should I know?!Last time you called me in that bloody seashell you told me you were in the land of untold stories and you got a job as some doctor’s assistant!”He yelled back.
“Yeah well that Doctor isn’t so nice!”I yelled to him until I heard some branches snapping and trees crunching. I turned around and saw my brother,sighing with relief.
“You found me”I said smiling as he half smiled, holding up the Ace of hearts.
“Good thing you were in my world...it showed up rather fast”He said but I ran and jumped into his arms
“Brother!”I said as he spun me
“Look at you!You’ve gotten so much taller!You’re still short though”He said chuckling. I glared
“Shut up!How the hell do we get out of here!I need to know how I ended up here”I said
“I see you haven’t changed at all….You didn’t hear?Mr.Hyde showed up with Snow white, Prince Charming, Captain Hook and the Witch of the west….once the curse in this town was broken he brought everyone over from the land of untold stories here to storybrooke. Looks like you got swept up too”He said as I had my arm entangled in his arm as we walked I picked up my dress wearing no damn shoes
“I don’t even have shoes!Ow!”I said angrily as I stepped on a twig
“We’ll get you new shoes when we get into town”Jeff said chuckling.
“Well I’m going to need new clothes, I can’t wear this dress here.It’s too poofy and hard to move in”I said looking at him. He chuckled.
“That can be arranged”He said smiling. I smiled back. Finally we got out to a main road and it was all black. I didn’t move an inch
“Why’s it all black?Is this a black river?”I asked confused. My brother laughed
“I forgot you really haven’t been around the upgraded things in this world...They use tar here for the roads that you drive your vehicle on”He said as he opened the door to a strange big vehicle
“What the hell is this thing?”I asked with raised brows
“It’s a jeep. Get in”He said and I did as told. He closed the door for me and went to the driver side
“You can drive this right?”I asked nervously.
“Buckle up”He said smirking
“What?”I asked confused looking at him.
“Oh for the love of-” He reached over me and pulled a long strap over my body, and it clicked to this strange object next to my seat, restraining me to the seat.
“I can’t move”I said looking nervous. He began to laugh at me
“Yes you can!It lengthens!”He said laughing more and made me lean forward. I felt the seatbelt grow longer as I moved forward. I smiled knowing I can move.
“What are these for anyways?”I asked confused
“It’s so you’re safe in case we get into an accident”He said buckling his seatbelt
“Interesting...well...don’t get us in an accident. Something tells me I’d rather not find out”I said still lost. He rolled his eyes
“I found Gracie, sis”Jeff said smiling. I snapped my head to him in shock
“Oh that’s wonderful!I have to see her!”I said clapping my hands with excitement. He laughed as he began to drive. I gasped at the sudden movement but relaxed as he was driving pretty good
“Relax. I’ve been doing this for a while”He said smirking.
“So, we’re in Storybrooke?”I asked looking out the window at the large clock tower.
“Yeah, you met Snow and the others I’ve mentioned right?”He asked
“I mean for a minute, we were knocked out and that was the last I saw of them before I woke up here”I said shrugging
“Alright, well how about I take you to granny’s for some hot food and coffee”He said smiling.
“What’s coffee?”I asked confused. He smirked
“If I know my baby sister, and I always have, you’re going to love it”He said as we entered a quaint little town. I looked around seeing so many small shops and people walking the sidewalks everywhere.
This palce felt right. It felt like home but it was missing just one person...
