Isaac led me across the street to the park. We sat underneath an old oak tree, his arms around my waist as I leaned into his warm body.
"You didn't hurt him," he murmured.
"How do you know that?"
"You had a fight, which was normal for you two. He'd been drinking again, and you were yelling at him to stop, or you were going to leave."
I blinked away tears, and gazed at him.
"Did you kill my dad, Isaac?"
His silence was all the confirmation that I needed.
