The Door of Truth

Stephanie felt trapped. She's lived on this Island for her entire life, and has grown up believing that it's all there ever was for her and for everyone else. Stephanie knows there's more out there, so much more out there. There's countries, and cities and places she can only see inside her dreams. She knows there's more of a life out there than this. Daydreaming on the daily and researching in the island library she has always attempted to find evidence to what else life could have to offer; and it's always gotten her in some sort of trouble. She dreams of so much more than what she's been given. In all her history lessons at the school-house, the teachers all say the same thing, 'we are the only human kind on this earth, the earth is ours and belongs to only us. Our fate is sealed in stone and our lives will be lived out on the island.'
Stephanie believes this to be complete and utter bulshit.
