Fifteen

When Seren has to say goodbye to her sister at thirteen, her life is turned upside down. The loss rocks her entire family and becomes the talk of the town. When she is accepted into her school’s foreign exchange program at fifteen, she clings to the opportunity to redefine herself, to escape the whispers and judgement and find who she really is.

She never expected to grow so close to the family who takes her in for the year; she didn’t anticipate any of them to have such a lasting impression on her, and she certainly didn’t plan on falling for the green-eyed boy who became her port of safety in such a tumultuous time.

At twenty-one, fate brings the biggest surprises she has had to deal with since she woke up to find Sophie gone, and Seren is left scrambling to keep up with all the changes that barrel into her life.
