Different Worlds

When Matt tells me about him dropping out, I don't blame him at all. However I am going to miss him being there with me at college. He reminds "You know I'm not abandoning you Jazmin...I just have to do what's right for me." I respect Matt's decision especially what he is currently going through. I respond nicely "Matt, you are so brave and all I know is you are going to recover from this and be a stronger person and by the way...fuck your parents."

He chuckles "Jazmin, did I ever tell you are awesome?" I laugh "Until now Matt." He and I enjoy each others company and all I can think is how I am so grateful for Matt as one of my best friend who I can call as my older brother.
