A Painful Life

Yumi's POV

As we all entered the academy, it was full of Genin for the Chunin Exams. As we reached the second floor, we saw lots of people crowded infront of a room. It was room 201 but someone had Genjutsu over the place making it look like Room 301. There were two boys knocking down whoever tried to enter. He was talking to a girl with buns, she was on the floor so she must have been trying to enter too.

"Real nice speech. Now step aside and let me through", said Sasuke.

"Hey, that's Genjutsu. Think we could fall for that stupid trap of yours?", I said to the boys and cut Sasuke as he was about to say something. Sasuke looked at me then looked back at the boys. Everyone started murmuring about what I said.

"So, you noticed the Genjutsu eh?", said one of the boys.

"Go ahead, tell them Sakura. You got the best analytical skills on our team. I'm sure you and Yumi must have seen this coming miles away", said Sasuke.

"Yeah, totally!", I said.

"I must have? Well sure. Ofcourse! I spotted it right away, this is only the second floor", said Sakura.

"Right", Naruto said not knowing what we're talking about.

The two boys reversed it and looked at Sasuke. "Well then let's see you deal with this", said the other boy.

He was about to kick Sasuke and Sasuke did the same until some weird guy with bushy brows stopped them. Sasuke looked at him strangely. Then, the bun girl and a boy with long hair walked towards bushy brows.

"Hey! What happened to the plan? The one you said about? To keep a low profile and not let anyone see our jutsu?", said the boy with long hair.

"I know but", said the bushy browed boy as he blushed and clenched his fists.

The girl with buns shook her head. "Forget it guys. It's over".

Then, I saw Kimura walking towards me. "Hey Yumi!"

"Hey Kimura! How are you?", we both gave a high five.

Suddenly, the boy with bushy brows walked towards us. "Yumi, right?"

"Uhh... Ummm", I murmured.

"I am RockLee. I have seen you since you came here. I am sure you have seen the flowers I sent you when you were in the hospital", he said.

"Oh. I recall seeing them and asking who were these people. Thanks, it meant alot to me!", I said.

"What's he talking about?", asked Kimura.

"Just something that happened before you came", I told her.

"I just wanted to tell you that I really admire you, Yumi. You got guts for making it alive after you were kidnapped. I wish we would be together but I am sorry. I am in love with Sakura. Please do not feel broken hearted for not getting a chance with the handsome devil of the Leaf village. I just like Sakura more, but we could still be friends", said RockLee as he kissed my hand. He smiled to Kimura then walked away. I stood still as Kimura looked at me and kept laughing out loud.

"So that's your prince charming 'The Handsome Devil of the Leaf village'. He does know how to talk to a girl", she said laughing even harder.

"It's not funny! He said we could still be friends. With his formal attitude, he sure does respect girls", I said.

As he walked to Sakura, offering her to be his girlfriend; she totally turned blue. "Definately, not", she said.

"Why?", he said totally black.

"Because you're a weirdo", she answered randomly. Naruto was laughing hysterically. RockLee looked down and walked to me. "Yumi, please. How can I get Sakura to like me?", he asked me desperately.

"Sorry, Lee. I am so the wrong person to ask", I said.

"Please! I am begging you", he said on his knees.

"Look, she must be stressed out because of the Chunin Exams. You are a great guy and you know how to talk to a girl. Ask her out again later and if she doesn't agree. You could come and I could give you some advice", I said.

"Really, thank you Yumi!", he said happily as he walked to his squad.

"Once again, Yumi is the peace and love maker!", I said proudly.

"Well, peace and love maker, I gotta go with my team", said Kimura. We both waved and I walked to my squad.

Sasuke's POV

I kept watching what happened with the guy who stopped my kick. "Hey you! Over here", I heard someone say. I looked back and saw a guy with long hair and behind him a girl with buns. "What's your name?", he asked.

"You know, it's a common curtesy to state your name before asking someone else's name", I said.

"You're a Genin, aren't you? How old are you?", he asked.

"I'm not obliged to answer", I said. The guy narrowed his eyes. "What's that?".

"Sasuke! You're being rude! They just wanna know you!", I heard an annoying voice say. It was Yumi.

"Sasuke, Naruto, Yumi! C'mon let's go", Sakura said pulling us.

"Hey, don't push me Sakura!", I said.

"Sasuke, you don't have to be so rude to your girlfriend either!", said Yumi. I kept glaring at her as she was smiling after pissing me off.

Yumi's POV

As we were walking to a big hall room, we heard someone talking.

"Hey you! With the attitude, hold on!", said someone. We all looked back to see Lee up. What's he up to now?
