A Painful Life

Yumi's POV

It was just in time when I made the clone jutsu. Sara's practice really helped me. While Kimura was looking for me, I got from behind ready to use my invisibility jutsu.

"Boo", I said from behind.

She looked back and I was now invisible. Then I started to throw a few kicks but she dodged them. Suddenly, Kimura activated her sharingan. Uh oh, that's not so good.

She copied the jutsu and we were both invisible, I think...

"Dang, they're now invisible when all the good stuff is going on", said Shika.

"Shut up Shikamaru!" Said Ino trying to concentrate.

We were both fighting but sadly nobody could see us! So I decided to release the jutsu and fight eye to eye.

"Come on Yumi! You can do it!" Naruto shouted.

But... I didn't wanna do it.. I never asked to fight Kimura... I mean she's my best friend, if I win, she loses and viceversa. Damn, I'd rather die right now.. And if I do die, how will I kill Orochimaru. Maybe, maybe I wasn't meant to do that. Maybe I'm not strong enough... Both my teammates are cheering me on but... it wasn't Kimura I wanted to beat.

Suddenly I had a Vision:

I could see Kakashi sealing Sasuke's cursemark. Suddenly, Orochimaru appeared. I couldn't bare see him without going over there to fight.

I stopped the match, I stopped fighting Kimura. I looked at everybody staring back at me with confusion. I just looked at everyone and ran out of the room.

Kimura's POV

"Hey, why did she run off like that?"

"What's going on?"

"Where's she going?"

All these voices were murmuring around the room. I knew Yumi went to see Orochimaru. I've seen it too. But it would be too risky if I had gone, we would be both eliminated.

"Okay, okay. Until we find out where she had gone, we should proceed with the next match. Kimura Uchiha, you can make your way back to the upper stage", said the coughing procter.

Okay, so we won't get eliminated. "Um, excuse me sir", I raised my hand politely, "I would like to go look for Yumi".

"Well, I can't see any harm in that since you're her opponent. You may go", said the procter.

"What about us", yelled Naruto. "We're her teammates too".

"You can't Naruto since our turn hasn't come yet. What if it's yours and you're not here? You would be eliminated", said Sakura.

"Oh", Naruto crossed his arms and closed his eyes.

"Thank you", and I bowed politely and walked out. I knew where she was. All I had to do is be careful.

Yumi's POV

I reached the ballroom where Kakashi and Sasuke were. I decided to use the invisible jutsu again to see what was going on.

"I think my cover is already blown... I'm here for Yumi and the Uchiha twins", said Orochimaru.

"You and your over ambition", said Kakashi.

Orochimaru giggled. "Well, I forgot to mention Sara... now that I know she's still alive. And that's not the least of it. Your precious little village will fall as well".

"What!" Said Kakashi and I (secretly) in unseen unison.

"It was all your Hokage's fault. But it shall be swift. I won't be long til the village is no more", he said.

"So what, it's like if you can't have it then nobody else can or something???" I said out loud. The jutsu wore off. "Oops".
