Nora returned weakly towards her team, completely drained, completely pissed.

I glanced towards Len. He looked impressed and smiled at Shii as she approached him.
Honestly, my heart ached for a second there. I started to cuss in my head.

"Damn, Kimura!" Yumi exclaimed. " I can't help but listen!"

I ignored her. What horrified me was that Shii kissed Len...on the lips.

I kind of thought you were in to me.....

I bit my own lip and turned away, not wanting to see his reaction.

"Kimura, what's wrong?" Yumi asked.

I tentatively shook my head. " It's nothing."

Len and Shii.

AARGHH!!

I was starting to like you...

"To think..," I muttured.

"To think what?"

"It's nothing, Yumi. I was just thinking." I assured.

"Of what?"

"Something." Someone..I guess.

I saw she didn't react so I guess she didn't hear. That's good.

"Oh. Len's coming!" she exclaimed.

Oh god.

"Really?" I said doubtfully.

"No. Nevermind. Shii pulled him back. "

I heard the board shuffling then immediately came to a halt.

IZAN LUKASHI VS UCHIHA ZANE

"Good luck , itoko*!" I said with a smile.

"Thanks, Kimura, " Zane replied appreciativly.

Zane jumped down to face Lukashi.

"Ready to lose?" Zane asked.

Lukashi snorted. "Only in your dreams. "

He quickly did a jutsu and Zane used his Sharingan to copy it.

It was something like a Water Wave jutsu. Their jutsu clashed into one other, splashing water everywhere.

I edged back a bit from the water.

"Shit," I muttered. " Zane is more of a fire person..right?.. And Lukashi is more of a water person. But then....he has the Sharingan..."

I watched silently.

Zane copied the second time.

Lukashi angrily threw a kunai towards him. "You damn Uchihas with your damn eyes!!"

I frowned. Well that was offending.

"Fine. Fair game then, Izan. I won't copy. Just nin-jutsu and tai-jutsu. 'Kay?" Zane mocked a bit.

"Do whatever you want," he challenged.

I sighed. Oh fun.

Yumi went to stand beside me. She patted my shoulder.

"Maybe Len isn't worth it, Kimura," she said quietly into my ear." He's a total jerk."

So she did know. Wow. She's good at faking...

I didn't answer for a while.

"I don't like Len," I muttered.

Yumi gasped. "Of course you do!"

"No, I don't. And you even just told me to let it go, Yumi," I sighed. I meant it, too. I hate him. I don't like him anymore, I don't like him anymore, I don't like him anymore...

"What happened to what you just said?" I sighed, wearily.

"I didn't mean it like that. I thought you'd still go after him."

"Well you're wrong."

I turned my attention back towards the fight.

Lukashi and Zane were doing quick attacks and moves that made it almost hard for me to follow.

But in the end, Zane won with a worn-out Lukashi on the ground. Zane was a bit shakey...It was a close fight.

"Tch," I said."You did well, Zane."

He nodded, bandaging is cut on his arm.

"Hey, I'll heal it," Yumi insisted, waving her arms.

Zane sat on the ground."You know how? "

"Er. Yeah," she replied.

" 'Cause that's like...advanced stuff."

Yumi's eyes started to burn with fire. " You tryin' to offend me, Uchiha Zane??!?!"

"Erm, no?" he said unsurely.

She narrowed her eyes, got down on her knees, and started to heal is arm. " I kinda just learned is from Sara-san so...It might not be that strong."

"It's cool." He smiled.

I saw Lukashi trudging his way back to his team.

"Hey, Lukashi?" I said.

He almost glared at me.

"You did...great," I smiled.

He snorted, but I could see that his eyes softened a little bit somehow."Yeah, whatever. Thanks Uchiha-girl."

He walked away.

I folded my arms.

Yumi laughed. "He's always the big-assed-tough guy."

After the last fight between Choji Akimichi and Dosu

I held two of my hands together and thought of Len. It was him who got me this far. It was him that gave me his extra scroll. It was him who helped both Yumi and I and it was him that saved us from Orochimaru. Maybe I should respect the poor guy instead of hating him, huh?

But...it was Shii everytime. Every single time.

I mean, what the hell did I ever do to HER?! Is she trying to make me jealous and come after her? 'Cause I'D SURE LOVE TO BEAT HER UP!

Len's like my big brother...that I don't like anymore. Tsk.

I rested my head on my arms, frowning.

Someone's having their Sasuke-emo moment I heard Yumi think.

"I'm not emo," I mumbled.

"Yeah, yah." Yumi motioned me to go down to the stadium where everyone else is going.

I followed.

We all stood before the Hokage.

"To all of you who won the rights to compete in the "third round test" in the Chunin Exam, one is missing but...congratulations to you all! " said the procter."Oh, Hokage-sama, if you would please--".

He nodded."Well now I'd like to start explaining the main test. As I told you before, in the main event, your matches will be seen by everybody. Each of you will fight to represent the strengths of your countries. I'd like you to show off all your powers with no reserves.Which is why the finals will be held one month from now."

We're not going to do it here, right now? Why not now?!" Naruto complained.

"This break, you can say, weill be for preparations," the hokage continued.

He continued with the speech, directions, and bla-bla-bla.

What kind of distracted me was that I kept glacing at Len once in a while. Ugh!
