Gone For So Long
"Sally!"
"Oh My God! Oli!" I said pulling him into a tight hug.
I hadn't seen Oli in what seemed like years, but had been no more than a few months.
He had been on tour with his band Bring Me The Horizon. He had offered to take me on tour with him and the guys, but I didn't want to get in the way.
"I haven't seen you in so long Sally" he said hugging me back.
"I though you weren't coming back until tomorrow?" I asked releasing him from the hug.
"I wanted to surprise you" he answered smiling sweetly. "But that's not all the surprise"
"What is the rest of it?" I asked curiously.
"You'll have to wait and see" he said taking my hand and walking down the sidewalk.
"Can I have a hint?" I asked pouting.
"It will happen when you least expect it"
"That not much of a hint" I said still pouting.
Knowing Oli he would wait a couple weeks just to drive me crazy.
"But it's the only hint you are getting" he said smiling.
Meanie
"Let's go to the park" Oli said suddenly after a few minutes.
I laughed "We haven't gone to the park since we were kids"
"Which is why we should go" he answered smiling and pulled toward the park across the street from where we currently were standing.
I laughed and let him pull me along. I had missed spending time with Oli and him making me laugh. Talking on the phone wasn't the same as having him with me.
"You know our one year is in a week" Oli said smiling softly when we reached the park.
"I know" I said smiling back "I'm glad you got back in time for it."
Oli sat down in a patch of grass and pulled me down into his lap "I missed you so much" he said holding me close.
"I missed you too" I answered leaning against him.
"You're coming with me when I go back on tour" he said firmly.
I sighed "I don't want to get in the way"
"You wont" he said kissing the side of my head. "Besides I don't want to leave my finance here all alone"
"finance?" I asked looking at him.
We weren't engaged.
Oli pulled something out of his pocket. "Sally?" he asked smiling.
"Yes?" I asked wondering what he was doing.
"Will you marry me?" he asked holding a ring in front of me.
I stared at the ring stroked "W-What?"
"Will you marry me?" he repeated.
I turned at attacked him with a hug, causing both of us to fall over.
"Is that a yes?" Oli asked laughing.
"Of course it is" I said kissing him "I love you"
"I Love you two Sally" he said smiling and slipped the ring on my finger.
