Don't Tell Me You Forgot Everything
3 months.
That's how long it's been since I last saw or talked to Adam.
It still felt like he had stabbed my heart repeatedly before he left.
I missed him so much.
Memories of the last time I had seen him flashed in my mind.
"I can't believe you!"
"Adam" I cried "Please"
"Don't you Adam me! This is all your fault! How could you?"
"I didn't do anything! I called to see if you were home and some girl answered the phone! What was I suppose to think?"
"I told you my sister was going to be staying at my house for a week!" he shouted "You didn't need to bite her head off! Do you have that little trust in me?!"
"Adam no I-"
"What ever I'm out of here"
And with that he stormed out of my house and out of my life.
No e-mails.
No Phone calls.
It was like he had completely forgotten about me.
I was sitting on my couch, the Tv on but I had no idea what was going on in the program that was currently on.
That's when my cell phone started ringing.
I picked it up quickly hoping it was Adam.
But it wasn't.
"Hello?" I asked hopefully.
"Hey Cheerio"
"Hi Low" I answered sighing.
"Thought I was Adam?" she asked.
"More like hoping" I answered sadly.
"Don't worry hun, I'll come over and cheer you up"
"I would rather be alone" I answered.
"Your always alone. I'm coming over"
And with that she hung up.
I sighed and put my cell phone back on the table next to me.
I had just noticed that it was raining. It always seemed to be raining now a days.
About 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door.
Sighing I got up to answer it.
"Lola I said I wanted to be alone" I said opening the door.
"Nicole?"
"Adam?" I asked shocked, seeing him standing there completely soaked "What are you doing here?"
He looked at me with sad eyes, it looked like he had been crying. He didn't answer, instead he pulled me into tight hug "I miss you so much" he said after a moment. "I was so stupid to let you go"
I hugged him back, not caring that he was getting me all wet.
"I'm the stupid one. I shouldn't of freaked out so bad"
"No," Adam said tightening the hug "It's all my fault. Will you ever forgive me?"
I pulled away and pressed my lips to his in a soft sweet kiss. "How could I not?" I asked smiling.
"I love you" he said resting his forehead against mine.
"I Love You Too" I answered kissing him again.
"Nicole your door is open...So this why you didn't want me to come over?"
I looked past Adam to see a smiling Lola.
"He just showed up" I answered.
"Right" She said rolling her eyes "I guess I'll see you later" and then walked back out the front door and shut it behind her.
"Nice to see Lola hasn't changed" he said smiling.
"It's even nicer to see you" I said smiling back.
"Yeah" he said and kissed me again "It is"
