"You should just tell him" our friend Mat said smiling at me.

"Are you mental?" I asked looking at him like he had lost his mind.

"No more than you are Tar" he answered still smiling.

"Jon doesn't like me like that Mat." I said sighing "I'm just his best friend"

"Well here is your chance" Mat said looking past me "Here he comes"

I turned to see Jon walking toward us smiling.

"Hey Jon" I couldn't see Mat's face but I knew he was smiling.

"Hey" I said smiling at Jon also.

"What are you guys up to?" he questioned.

"Nothing" I said but at the same time Mat Answered "Tarra has something to tell you"

I looked at Mat funny "I do?"

"Yes" he said smiling and pushed me toward Jon a little "You do" and with that he walked off.

"What is it?" Jon asked smiling.

"I...Well..."

"Are you okay Tar?" he asked.

"Yeah" I answered rubbing the back of my neck "I just" I sighed "I don't know how to tell you this"

"Tell me what?"

I looked at Jon. It was looking back at me curiously. He was adorable. I couldn't help myself. I pulled him into a kiss.

"That" I answered softly breaking the kiss.

He just stared at me stunned.

"I'm just gonna go now" I said backing away a little as he kept staring at me.

I turned to leave but Jon grabbed my hand "No wait"

I looked back at him "It's okay if you don't like me like that Jon" I said smiling weakly "I understand"

"Trust me" he said smiling "That is not the case at all" and with that he pulled me into another kiss.
