Adam.
He was suppose to be home from tour two days ago.
He wasn't answering his cell phone.
I was starting to get worried.
"NiCole!" Lola yelled opened the front door.
I turned and looked at her.
"Get inside it's raining!"
"I'm waiting for Adam" I called back.
She looked at me sadly, "He's not coming Sweetie"
"He was suppose to be home two days ago" I answered softly wrapping my arms around myself and kept standing in the rain.
"NiCole come inside" Lola said now standing next to me.
"Not until Adam comes home" I said not looking at her and just staring down the road, hoping to see his tour van.
"Did you think that maybe he isn't coming back?" she questioned.
I had.
But I wouldn't and couldn't let myself believe Adam would just leave like that.
I Loved him.
It would kill me if I lost him.
"He wouldn't do that" I answered, feeling a tear mix with the rain as it fell down my cheek.
"NiCole" she said softly placing a hand on my arm but I pulled away.
I refused to believe Adam would just leave me.
"NiCole come inside" she placing her arm around my shoulders.
I looked at her sadly "I love him Low"
"I know Sweetie" she and started leading me inside. "He'll be home soon. You should wait inside"
When we had reached the front door I heard my name being called.
"NiCole!"
I turned to see Adam standing in the middle of the lawn smiling.
"Adam?" I asked taking a step closer.
He held out his arms and I smiled, breaking out into a run. I ran straight into the arms and started crying.
"Hey" he said softly "What's wrong?"
"I was so worried, you said you were gonna be home two days ago" I cried.
"The bus broke down" he said holding me tightly.
"Why didn't you call me?"
"Matt sat on my cell and broke it" he answered stroking my soaked hair.
I couldn't help but look at him and smile.
"I missed you so much" he said caressing my cheek.
"I missed you too" I answered and with that he placed a soft kiss on my lips.
"Don't leave me again?" I asked hiding my face in his shoulder.
"Never" he answered hugging me tightly "Next tour you're coming with me."
"I love you" I said softly.
"I love you too" he answered smiling and kissed me again.
I was so happy to have Adam back I felt like Dancing In The rain
