Shannon's POV-
So she's home, from work. I guess I'm going to have to tell her. I'm sat on the couch. It's like 1.30 am. She's not going to be happy...
"Shannon, what are you doing up?" She asks, locking the door behind her.
"Mum. I need to tell you something." I whisper shakily.
"What?" She asks, I think she's worried. I really really do.
"mum. I'm ." I stop. I think she knows what's coming. She just wants to hear me say it.
"What?" she asks again.
"Mum, please don't hate me." I stop, tears forming in my eyes. I don't normally get emotional. "I'm pregnant..." And then the tears fall. I choke on huge, not-well-stifled sobs.
She stares at me in shock before wrapping her arms around me, assuring me it will all be okay.
