Niley: The Real Story
Making up
We walked into the dining room and I sat across from Joe and Demi. Kevin and Ashley sat next to them so the only seat left was next to Selena who was right next to me. I looked at her but she just looked at Demi and never looked in my direction. We began to eat and my parents started talking to Ashley and Demi asking them things like,
"So Demi I heard you've recorded some songs and played them on your show," my mom said.
"Yeah I love music and I've been writing songs for a long time and I'm thinking of trying to make an album soon."
"Well if you need any help with that we can help you," my dad offered.
"Oh thank you so much! 'd appreciate that..." and the conversation went on like that but with different questions and so on until dinner finished. When I got up I asked Joe,
"Hey dude why is Selena here?"
"She was at Demi's house and her parents weren't home and she didn't have a key so she tagged along with Demi," Joe answered.
"Oh OK" I followed Joe and Demi into the living room and he sat with Demi and Selena while Kevin and Ashley sat on a separate couch. They talked for a while until Kevin and Ashley left to go to the other living room. I watched Demi and Joe whisper to each other and noticed Selena was busy texting. Then Demi whispered something to Selena and she made a face but never looked at Demi while her and Joe walked out of the room. I looked forward to see Selena looking at me but when she noticed me looking her eyes shifted towards the floor. we sat there in silence for a few minutes not looking at each other. I tried to think of what to say to her and I knew I needed to apologize to her but I didn't know what to say. Finally I thought of something so I stood up and sat down to sit next to Selena. She moved over to the end of the couch and still would not look at me. I Finally managed to say,
"Hey um I'm sorry about what happened last week. To be honest I just couldn't stand the thought of you and Devin because I guess I was just jealous but I was wrong. I'm sorry." She remained silent and was still looking at the floor. I guess that didn't change anything so I stood up tp leave but bfore I could get up she grabbed my arm,
"Wait Nick! I'm sorry for exploding at you like that," her voice softened," I really didn't know."
"Can we be friends again?" I asked. This time she looked me in the eyes,
"Yeah you know its really hard to stay mad at you," she smiled and gave me a hug.
"Demi said that her and Joe were gonna go over there until we figured the whole thing out so I guess we should go tell them the great news." We stood up and started walking towards the dining room when I heard a familiar voice,
"Hi Mr.and Mrs.Jonas! Do you know where Nick is?" Selena didn't hear the voice so she playfully pulled me by the hand and we walked into the dining room to find Miley standing next to my parents. She glared at Selena with a evil look and then smiled at me.
