I'm Not What You Expected.

Jacob's POV

"There's something strange about that Lene girl." Sam said for the thousandth time.

"What do you mean?"

"There something I can't quite grasp."

"Like what?" I asked curiously

"The way I never seem to hear her heart."

"It's always racing like a speed car." I said

Sam looked at me with strange eyes then he became curious.

"Really?"

"Yeah, and she's always blushing."

"That's strange."

"I don't understand what you're talking about, she's amazing and sweet and just..." I sighed

"Did you really imprint on her?" He asked

"He's always thinking about her, I had a dream about her the other night." Embry said with a grossed out face

"This isn't right, I just know it."

"Sam, you're just being paranoid or something."

"No, I know there's something fishy going on, and I'm going to find out."

I shrugged, I really didn't care what he thought, to me Lene was the most amazing girl ever, I loved her smile and the way she always blushed when I touched her, it made me feel so happy and in love.

"Can you please stop with that."

"If you don't want to see her then get out of my head." I snapped back

I stood up and walked to the table and grabbed some cookies.

"I'm going to go see her."

"What?"

"I know where she lives, I just need to see her." I said walking out the door

"Jacob, I'm telling you something is not right."

"No Sam, everything is perfect." I smiled and got in my rabbit.

She's probably still in school.

It took me ten minutes to make up my mind, and finally I drove down the highway to her house.

Great she's pulling in.

I slowed down, and then noticed Edward get out of the car, he was telling her something and she looked upset, like he had something to her, he had hurt her, and then he was gone. I stayed in the car for some time fighting again with myself.

She liked him, I should have known.

I could feel the pain starting to come back, the pain Bella had caused me was coming back, but this pain was stronger because Lene was my one and only, she was the one I wanted and now I knew she wanted somebody else. I started to breath in and out as I looked down at my steering wheel, trying so hard to blink the tears away.

"Jacob?"

I looked up to my window and saw Lene standing there with a look I couldn't quite grasp. I opened the door and got out.

"Hey, I was just um-"

She hugged me before I could finish my sentence, I hugged her back.

"Nice to see you." She said

"You too." I smiled

"How long have you been here?"

She wants to know if I saw Edward.

"Just got here, I was just thinking whether it was too creepy for me to be here."

"Well I'm glad you came." She said stepping back looking at me with her cheeks all blushed

I touched her cheek, causing it to blush all over again.

"So what are you doing home so early?"

"I wasn't feeling well at school."

"Would you like to go down to La Push?"

She bit her lip and looked around.

"I don't think it's a good idea."

Edward. This is all Edward's doing! Does Bella even know what he's doing behind her back?

"Oh."

"You can stay if you want." She smiled

"I... Would like that." I manages to say

She took my hand and led me to her house, it was empty and quiet.

"Where are your parents?"

"I live alone." she smiled sadly

"Oh."

"yeah, but I mean I'm almost and adult so it's all good." She laughed

I looked around and sat on the couch as she turned on the TV.

"Would you like anything to eat? I have meat." She giggled

"sure, sure."

She went to the kitchen, I saw as she started to get everything ready, I saw the way she moved so flawlessly, the way she seemed to me in such harmony, I was so engraved into her, that I didn't noticed I was staring at her.

"Do I have something on me?" She asked

"No, you just look amazing." I bluttered out

I quickly turned around, and from the corner of my eye I could see her smiling. For some reason I wanted to stay like this forever, pretend that this was our home, that it was always going to be like this, but then there was something telling me she didn't want the same thing.
