I'm Not What You Expected.

School that Monday wasn't that different, well maybe because I hadn't seen Edward, Alice, nor Bella, oh and Jasper but I don't think he likes me.

It's not bad as I thought.

What?

Nothing, I just thought today was going to be really uncomfortable.

I told you everything was going to be okay.

I sighed and looked at the teacher, and for once I was completely lost on what he was saying, then lunch came, I walked to the usual table and found everybody staring at me.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Um... Lene can I talk to you?"

I looked at Bella and smiled.

"Sure."

"In private."

I looked around the table, then followed Bella out to the parking lot.

"So what's up?" I asked

"Edward told me."

"Yeah, he apologized before hand." I sighed

"I can't, I just don't know it's unbelievable."

"Yeah I can't quite grasp it myself."

"Are you going to tell Jacob?"

"Why is it so important? Can I just be my human side?"

"Jacob will love you no matter what."

"That might be true but ugh I don't know."

"It's frustrating isn't it."

"It really is especially when Edward is constantly in my head."

"W-What?"

I stared at her, why would she react like this? Unless...

"Edward didn't tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"You see I can block my thoughts from him, but when they're unblocked I can hear his so we can communicate without really talking."

"Wow he didn't tell me that."

"That's pretty much how he found out about me, I let it slip."

"Did you know about them?"

I nodded and looked at the floor.

"Why didn't you just tell them?"

I shrugged, I had already had this conversation but I didn't want to be rude.

"Well now you know I know, so if you need anything I'm here."

"Actually..."

"Yeah?"

"Can you tell Jacob I'm sorry for everything."

"Yeah of course."

"And that I wont bother him again."

Bella stared at me wide eyed.

"He's better off that way." I said in a low voice.

"You're not even going to try?"

"Edward is right."

"About what?"

"Jacob is going to hate me if he finds out what I am."

"How do you know?"

"He's a werewolf it's in his nature."

"I'm not going to let you do this!"

"Bella please."

"NO! Lene this is not up to you."

"of course it is."

"It's up to Jacob as well."

"He obviously doesn't want to talk to me, because he thinking I like Edward, which is totally not my fault it's Edwards and e's just like 'it's for the best Lene.'" I mocked him

Bella smiled.

"Jacob thinks you're too good for him, and that you're just being polite."

"I wouldn't have kissed him, if I was being polite."

"You two have gotten closer than I thought."

I smiled and sighed.

"I won't give up just yet."

"I know you two were meant for each other." Bella said giving me a hug.

I hope that's true, and don't ask what Edward.
