I'm Not What You Expected.

"What are you doing all the way here?" Bella asked him

"What I can't come?" He teased

"It's just a surprise to see you!"

"A good one."

"Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't gone down to La Push lately."

"I understand Bells." He said with a smile

"You know what?" She asked

"What?"

"I'm coming over tomorrow."

He smiled then leaned in and whispered something in her ear.

"Jake." She said a bit angered and upset about it

"It's trues isn't it"

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean anything okay."

"Sure, sure."

I looked away from them and noticed Angela's sight was on me.

"What?" I asked

She smiled and poke me.

"By the way you were looking at him, I would guess you like him."

"I barely know the guy."

"Love at first sight." she sighed.

I shook my head and waited for Bella to hurry up so we could leave already.

"Come on Bell we have to go." Angela to my relieve told her

"You guys can go right ahead, I'll drive her home."

"Oh okay."

"Um... Bella."

"Yeah?"

"I have my stuff at your house."

"Oh right."

"Then you can come along with us." Jacob spoke with a smile

I turned to Angela and gave her a hug.

"Thanks for inviting."

"No problem, see you Bella."

"Bye."

Angela walked away, looking a but upset about the whole situation, but who could blame her, now she had to drive all the way home alone, she kind of just got ditched.

"My car is down this way." He said pointing to the left

We nodded and followed him to a VW rabbit.

"Nice car." I told him as I got on the back

"Thanks."

"He built it from scratch." Bella announced proudly

"Wow that's really awesome."

Bella and Jacob went in and strapped themselves with the seat belt's, then we were off on the road.

"So are you new?" He asked

I laughed and shook my head.

"No, I've been in Forks for three years now."

"How's life treating you?"

"Fair enough."

I could see him from the rear view mirror, and I was pretty sure if I had a heart it would be racing like crazy, my breathing would become uneasy, and my cheeks blazing, but nothing happened I was just empty.

"You promise you'll go tomorrow?"

"Yes Jake I promise."

"We can hang out with the boys and Emily!" He exclaimed.

I sighed now I was invincible to them, or more like him, it was clearly he was head over heels for Bella, but in Bella's eyes he was just a friend.

Jacob Black.

"Wait Black, there's an old myth about ware wolfs, and vampires surrounding La Push." I said out of nowhere.

Bella and Jacob both stared at me, except Bella was the only one that was actually looking at me.

"I forget how the story goes." i shrugged

The car was filled with tension, like I had said something that I wasn't supposed to say, or something that was a secret, and as the curious girl that I am, I wanted to now. What does Jacob Black have to do with the myth?
