The Adventures of Super Gabe!

"Hi!!" The perky girl at the Pet Store pipes "What can I help you with?"
"Um, well I need a dog food thats kind of...fancy?" Gabe said.
"Ooooh! For a doggie date?!" the girl, Kimi, giggled.
"Um, sort of." Gabe said scratching he's neck.
"Well, on aisle 7 is are specialty foods!" she said in her overly perky voice.
"Alright...we got it from here." Gabe said trying to get Kimi to leave.
"Okay! If you need anything let me know!" she said skipping back to her register.
"That stuff looks good." Ryland said pointing to a small purple can.
"Well looky there! Vegan dog food..." Gabe said examine the label.
"They make that?" Ryalnd asked
"I suppose since I'm holding some."

As the walked up to the cash register Gabe noticed the cover of Kimi's magazine.
'Super hero Gabe Saporta saves thousands from drowning on a cruise ship.' read the title.
"It wasn't thousands...maybe 20 tops." Gabe muttered handing the food to the girl.
"So, is that all Mr. Saporta?"
Gabe nodding grabbing the bag and hurriedly leaving.

"Well, you sure are friendly to your fans." Ryland noted.
"I don't see Guy Ripley handing out signatures."
"But,"
"And your lucky, you get to hide! No one notices you...everyone sees me." Gabe interrupted.
"Well, um..it's already five and your date with Victoria is in two hours...you should get cooking." Ryland said
"Oh yea.." Gabe says turning on the car and speeding away.

"One egg!" Ryland rings to Gabe that has he's head buried in the fridge getting the things that Ryland names off.
"Alright...is that it?" Gabe ask since that was the seventh item and that's how many he had seen listed.
"Well....there is an optional use of nutmeg."
"What's that?" Gabe asks
"Some kind of spice, I think."
"Oh...well I guess I can start the actual cooking process now." Gabe said turning on the fire below the giant wok.
"Just don't burn the apartment down." Ryland jokes walking into the livening room.

Not five minutes later Gabe calls Ryland into the kitchen for help.
"Um, dude...it is suppose to turn this dark brown color?"
"Oh my god! You burned it!" Ryland said poking the charred tofu slices.
"Good thing we got the big box..." Gabe mumbled.

"So, um, Vic-Victoria, um," Gabe stops to clear he's throat, "How was your uh, day?"
"Lovely." She smiles taking a sip of her sparkling water.
"Thats, that's great." Gabe said smiling like a bafoon.
"Gabe, I...I really...Oh my god!" Vicky stopped mid-sentence to point in the direction of the kitchen.
Following her gaze Gabe noticed a small flame in the garbage can.

Trying not to panic he put out the blaze with the fire extinguisher.
"Well, that was a close one." Gabe said dabbing the small pool of sweat located on he's upper brow.
"Yea.." Vicky said a little uneasy.
"So, what were you saying before that little fiasco?"
"Um..nothing." Victoria lied.
"Oh...well then, I guess it's a good time to uh, eat the stir fry."
"Yea." Vicky smiled glad to advert what she was about to let slip.
