Ryan and Gerard had been boyfriends since their freshman year. Sophie had never cared that Ryan was gay, but their father hated it, thus being the source of reason for his son's suicide. Sophie is tramatized by the event and the last moments with her brother. She must learn to live without her only friend and make new ones in the boy that his brother had fallen in love with years ago.
