The Flower That Blooms in the Darkness

"Where is she, dammit!" I growled out.

Pein sighed. "For the thousandth time, we don't know."

"But it's been two days since she left, un! We need to go after her!" Deidara exclaimed.

"Not until Sasori gets back with information on her location." Pein shot back, "And if you two don't shut up about it, you're not going to be on the search party!"

Deidara opened his mouth to say something back, but Kisame elbowed him in the ribs.

She just left after we talked with Mamoru. She didn't say where she was going, or when she'd be back.

I looked at Mamoru.

But she wouldn't stay away from him this long.

Not by her own choice.

Then Sasori came in through the door, out of breath.

"I got a lead from the cafe owner. He said people took an unconscious girl out of there. He said he heard something about Konohagakure." He said quickly.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's follow up on it!" Kisame growled.

I was surprised.

I didn't know Kisame liked her that much.

Shouts followed his suggestion.

"I already did." Sasori looked down.

"And?" Pein prodded, getting annoyed.

"And she's there, all right. I overheard Jounin talking about her being....

.....tortured...."

"So who's going on the rescue squad?"

Only Kakuzu and Pein were staying behind.

So that gives us Kisame, Hidan, Konan, Tobi, Sasori, Deidara and myself.

"Let's head out." I said, and lead the group towards the forest.
