Victoria's POV

That discussion group wasn't too bad, didn't go on long but whatever making feel good, and I'm so excited for the song thing I get too play my bass. Anyway the rest of that day went awesomely. We had Ray Toro last teaching us Geography none of it sticks but it was interesting.

I dreaded going home in case my mum IS in, my mum is an alcoholic, and very rarely in, and my dad works in the navy and i only see him one or two a year, sometimes three, if I'm lucky. Anyway, I have to work so i can feed myself, but it's very hard to do my homework so I end up behind in class, and getting allot of detentions, but it's not my fault I can never trust my mum. Tonight she was in, which means I'd be shouted at and probably hit because there was no alcohol, and I'm too young to buy any. I couldn't go to work, I'm hoping that the people at work understand, my boss knows why but sometimes he's a-bit random and forgets how hard life at home is. I wish I could tell someone who understands, maybe I could talk to Mikey or Johnny about it, but Jimmy said talk to him and I am in his form I suppose I could to that.

Time Lapse : The Next Day

I went to school earlier than usual, because my mum is still in and I want to catch a teacher before we have to be registered. I ran all the way, when I got to the office I asked the guy there,

'Hey, erm, is Mikey or Jimmy around at the moment?'

He shouted at me,

'DOES IT LOOK LIKE I KNOW, EVEN IF I DID KNOW I WOULDN'T TELL YOU!'

He scared me, I then looked at the name on his desk it said, Bert McCracken, then I said,

'I'm sorry Bert!'

He shouted back at me,

'WELL YOU SHOULD BE, I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TAKE SOME DRUGS BUT CAN'T FIND ANY!'

At this point Mikey was coming around the corner humming, 'It's not a fashion statement it's a fucking death wish'. He walked over to Bert and me and said,

'Bert, stop scaring the pupil, just because you have to get up earlier than what you are used to!'

Bert just grumbled and started tapping keys of the keyboard then Mikey looked to me and smiled and asked,

'He doesn't take drugs anymore well not that I know of anyway, so, what are you doing here so early?'

I couldn't believe how nice he was being, ever other school I've been too I had been shouted at, I said,

'Well, I was looking for you, but if you wasn't in I was going to talk to Johnny or Jimmy, but you're in and you're less scary than Jimmy!'

He laughed and told me to go to his office, which I did, his office looked aw-sum, had pictures of him live with his 'My Chemical Romance' and it had a couple of his bass guitars in his corner, I admired the bass while I was waiting for Mikey, I got tempted and walked over to the bass guitars and picked one up and started to play a C-major scale, it was perfectly in tune. I then started to play 'Headfirst For Halo' and at that point Mikey came in, and started clapping, I was really embarrassed, but he said,

'That was really good playing, anyway sit down!'

I did as i was told and then he looked at me and asked,

'So, what did you want to talk about?'

I started fidgeting in my seat and started to regret it, but I knew I had to do it, I sighed then explained to him about my mum and how I have to live, and how i might lose my job because I couldn't go in again. I then broke down crying, Mikey got out of his seat and came over and hugged me, and said,

'It's all okay, we'll sort it out! You can live with one of the teachers temporarily, and we'll sort this all out for you!'

I stopped crying and thanked him for being so nice. Then he asked me,

'So ready for registration, I'll come with you to talk to Jimmy, and explain everything to him.'

We walked to my registration and behind the door Jimmy was cursing badly.

Bob's POV

I can't believe Victoria is late, again, plus she just missed Jimmy walking into the desk. After a couple of minuets of Jimmy cursing. Victoria came in with Mikey, and Mikey wanted to talk to Jimmy privately, so that gave me a chance to talk to Victoria and ask her a boat load of questions. All of which were answered, after she explained everything I hugged her and said,

'I'd let you stay with me, but I don't think the people I'm staying with will appreciate me bringing in a girl I just met a couple of days ago!'

She just laughed at me and said,

'Thanks, but I'm going to be staying with a teacher for a bit, I dunno which one though, I just hope it's not the secretary, Bert McCracken!'

'Oh yeah, I heard him once shout at someone that was late, 'WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LATE!' and before the guy could answer he said, 'GET OUT OF MY FUCKING SITE BEFORE I SHOOT DRUGS AT YOU!' is he a druggie?'

'Mikey said he's not, just that he's a grumpy ass! Anyway what have we got next?'

'I have P.E. I think you have Gymnastics!'
