Such a Simple Little Heartless Girl
Awakening

I awoke to find that I was falling.
Not through darkness and abyss however, but I could see the sea below me, and the sky above me.
There was an island off to the side and to the other side the sun was nearly blinding me.
I braced myself for pain when I hit the water;
Snapping of my neck when I hit the sand below.
But it never came.
I squeezed my eyes shut as I went through the water, the sand, a layer of dirt, what seemed like magma, until I saw a stain glass platform below me.
Now I was honestly dead.
Upon my last moments of falling I shut my eyes, but then I felt a lift and opened them again.
I was floating.
I frowned, a moment ago I was falling to my death.
Now I'm pulling a Mary Poppins…
Odd…
In any event, I wasn't dead when I hit the platform.
Touched, I touched the platform is more like it.
I sighed and three boxes came around me.
They were silver, and upon each was a weapon.
A red shield.
A silver sword with a blue handle.
And a yellow staff with a blue crystal atop it.
However there was something strange about all of them…
They all had the Mickey Mouse symbol on them?
I frowned but walked up to the staff none the less.
I took a deep breath in and reached for it.
It came out surprisingly easy.
It was lightweight.
Very portable.
I looked around, frowned, grabbed the sword and shoved it into the glass.
Causing it to shatter and break.
I was falling yet again.
When I landed I was on another platform, much like the first.
As soon as my feet touched the ground, black spots began filling in all over the platform.
And out of them popped what looked like giant ants.
I frowned as they came towards me.
Their eyes were glowing yellow, and the way they moved about reminded me of a spider.
So graceful; poised even.
I sat there admiring their movements.
That is until one scratched me.
Then, all of the cuteness evaporated, along with my temper control.
"THAT HURT!" I screamed and swung at them; no good.
It only seemed to anger them.
I sighed and shut my eyes glancing at the staff.
It's the only weapon I have, after this I'd have to wing it.
I sighed and jumped as high as I could, pointing the staff towards the ground as I fell.
I smiled when the glass shattered once again and the ants disappeared.
I fell to another platform, this one, had stairs.
I looked around to make sure no one was here and began running up the stairs.
When I was about half way up I turned around and frowned.
All of the other stairs were gone.
"I guess in this case there is no where to go but up" I mumbled and continued climbing the stairs until I got to the vacant platform at the top.
I walked to the center and looked around.
My shadow…
I frowned at the dark spot on the ground, that's not my shadow.
My eyes widened as the shadow from the ground raised up into 3D becoming bigger than I was.
It had a huge heart shaped hole in the center.
I began backing up as it came towards me.
My foot felt the edge of the platform and I breathed in.
"Don’t look down" I whispered as I jumped off the edge.
I chuckled to myself, now I WAS falling through darkness and abyss.

When I woke up I yawned and rubbed my head.
My whole body felt like it had fallen onto a rock.
A very hard rock…
I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. I was in a cave.
"Well, that explains the rock part" I muttered.
I looked around to see drawings everywhere.
It looked like the product of a bunch of ADHD oriented kids.
I turned around to see a wooden door, with no door knob.
I frowned and touched it, tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.
I turned around and began walking out of the cave.
"Eve" a voice said.
I spun around to see a hooded figure.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
"I know a lot about you Eve" the figure said.
"Like what?" I snapped, but in reality I was scared to death.
The figure chuckled, "I know your past, your present, and your future"
I frowned, "Whatever" I muttered, turning to leave.
"WAIT!"
"What?" I asked turning around again.
"Take this" they tossed a green bottle to me, "Use it when someone is hurt" they said.
And then they disappeared.

I couldn't breathe.
I was cold and I didn't trust my surroundings to open my eyes.
I waved my arms and legs about like crazy.
I probably looked like a bug in water.
WATER.
I was in water.
Eventually, I felt a breeze on my face and felt air flood my lungs and I knew that I was at the surface.
I opened my eyes and they burned with salt and sunlight.
I looked around, nothing for miles.
I turned around to see an island.
A boy was laying in the sand.
And a girl in a purple mini skirt and a white tank top was walking over to him.
"WOAH!" he sat up with a jolt and the girl giggled.
He sighed, "Gimme a break Kairi" he said.
"SORA YOU LAZY BUM! I knew I'd find you snoozing down here" she said in a high pitched annoying voice.
I frowned.
"NO THIS HUGE BLACK THING SWALLOWED ME UP! I couldn't breathe. I couldn't—OW" He rubbed his neck.
I giggled at this.
"Are you still DREAMING?" the girl smirked.
"It wasn't a dream! Or…was it…I don't know" he said.
"Yeah sure" the girl said, walking towards the ocean.
"Hey Kairi…"
I turned my attention to a silver haired boy who had the most beautiful eyes.
Yes, even from where I was I could see them.
They were ocean blue and absolutely gorgeous.
The girl frowned and peered in my direction.
I frowned and went under, not wanting to be seen just yet.
I swam to the other side of the island for safe hiding.
Only to see someone with a cell phone raised.
Someone who was moving about frantically.
Someone with black hair.
"EVELYN!" I screamed.

I felt a chilly breeze from all over me.
I my eyes were shut tight, not by choice however.
I had to almost pry them open to see that I was falling out of the sky, towards an Island.
A dock actually.
A dock with lots of trees, oh and a boy with silver hair.
I sighed, then screamed at the top of my lungs.
The boy sprang up and ran around frantically, trying to catch me.
He eventually did, but we both ended up falling.
He groaned and sat up, "Are you alright?" he asked.
"I-" I stopped myself and looked at my ankle, "My ankle, I think it's hurt," I said, wincing as he ran his fingers over it.
"I'm Riku," He said, meeting my gaze.
He had the most alluring blue eyes ever.
"Allison" I said, enchanted by his beauty.
He smiled and helped me up, letting me put his weight on him.
Actually he picked me up and brought me over to a tree that was bent so it was like a bench.
He pulled out a green bottle and gave it to me, "Drink it," he instructed.
I looked at it; disgusted.
He laughed, "Trust me, it will make you feel better" he said.
I pinched my nose and downed it.
Instantly, every pain that I was feeling left me.
I smiled and he pulled out a yellow star shaped fruit, "Take it"
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's a poupou fruit" he explained, "When two people share one their destinies become intertwined, they remain a part of each others life; no matter what"
I raised my eyes and he laughed, "And you're probably hungry, but I just ate lunch so no worries" he smiled.
I laughed.
"HEY RIKU!" screamed a brunette girl with a purple mini skirt and a white tank top.
"Yeah?" he asked.
"I FOUND A GIRL!"
He frowned and raised his eyes, "A…girl?" he asked.
"NOT LIKE THAT!" she said, running up, dragging someone behind her.
My eyes widened when I realized who it was, "EVE!" I shrieked.
"ALLISON!" she screamed and we hugged each other.
"Have you seen Blake…or…or Adam…. or Alex? Or even Ashley? I'd even settle for Evelyn or Lovvy at this point" she muttered.
I shook my head, "I don't even know where we are," I confessed.
"Me either" she said, "I'm so happy I found you though!" she said.
"Me too" I said, not convinced on our safety.
See, when something bad is going to happen, I usually start feeling light headed.
And at the moment, I feel like an Air Head.
