Before I'd even opened my eyes, I knew that my surroundings had changed.
The island had a warm breeze about it.
This place had a warm homey feeling.
The island was made of sand.
I was lying on stone of a sort.
I opened my eyes and saw the dim light of my surroundings.
I looked around, it looked like an old English town.
"Where am-OH!" I looked in the sky just in time to see a star blinking out.
"The…star…" I mumbled and sat up.
I was on a roof, but it was low enough that I could jump off the top without hurting myself.
But something stopped me.
Sora was lying in an alley next to the roof.
Evelyn was lying next to him, her hand in his.
I smiled for her, maybe they really were meant for each other.
After that I hopped off the roof and walked into the shop that said Accessory shop.
"How can I hel-oh, it's only a kid" the old guy behind the counter grumbled.
"I'm not a kid" I said, walking up to the desk.
"Alright, little lady, what can I do for ye?" he smirked.
Pervert…
"Nothing that you're thinking of" I snapped.
He sighed, "What do you want?" he asked.
"Where am I?" I asked.
"You're in Traverse Town."
"Traverse…Town?" I asked.
"Traverse Town is where people are sent when there worlds are destroyed" he said.
"Huh…" I stated.
"It's divided up into three districts; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd."
I nodded, "Thanks…um…"
"Cid"
I smiled, "Cid. I'm Evelyn" I said, shaking his hand.
"Listen kid, anyone gives you any problems, you come to me" he said.
"Thanks" I said, walking out of there.
I walked back into the Alley to find that Sora and Eve were awake, and rubbing their heads.
"Hi" I said.
Eve frowned, "Go away" she snapped.
I rolled my eyes, "Did you guys hurt your heads?" I asked.
"Where are we?" Sora asked.
"Traverse Town, it's where people are sent when their worlds are destroyed, it's divided up into three districts" I smiled.
Eve rolled her eyes, "Whatever, nerd" she mumbled.
I sighed and began to walk away.
"Evelyn!" Sora called.
I turned around, "Yeah?"
"Can you get me a coffee?" he asked.
I nodded, "Yeah, sure" I smiled.
I sighed and ran to the little coffee shop that was in front of an Item shop.
I ordered his coffee and the woman asked me for money.
"I-I don't have any" I said.
She sighed, "Fine" she snapped, giving me the coffee and putting the closed sign up.
I rolled my eyes and walked back to Sora and Eve who were laughing hysterically.
"Here" I said, giving him the drink and turning to walk away again.
"Sora, I'm gonna go look around" Eve said.
She walked past me and I suddenly felt a presence very close to me.
"Boo" a seductive voice whispered in my ear.
"Ah?"
He laughed and stretched, "So, you wanna look around?" he asked.
I shrugged, "Alright"
"Let's go in there," he pointed to the accessory shop.
"Okie Dokie" I said.
"How can I help-Why are there so many kids coming in today?" he grumbled.
I smiled as Sora frowned, "I'm not a kid" he said.
"Alright, son, what can I do for you" he said.
"What is this place, gramps?" he asked, looking around.
"The names Cid. This is Traverse Town, just like I already told your little friend over there"
Sora nodded and told Cid what had happened.
"Alright Sora, you and Evelyn go look around and see if you can find your friends, come back to me in a bit" he said.
We nodded and walked out.
"So…tell me about yourself" Sora said.
"There isn't much to tell" I grumbled, "Not compared to Eve anyways" I said.
He laughed, "I hate that, when people compare themselves. It happened all the time with Riku" he said.
"Okay then…I have diagnosed ADHD, Anger-management, OCD, and Manic Depression" I said.
He nodded, "OCD?"
"Not so bad anymore" I said.
"What else?" he asked.
"What else do you want to know?" I asked.
He shrugged, "You know, basic facts of stalking…height, blood type, last relationship, age, school…bra size…" he mumbled the last one.
I rolled my eyes, "5'2, A, sixth grade with a guy..well..yeah, 14, Henderson High, 30A" I said.
He laughed, "I can't believe you told me your bra size…Eve wouldn't…"
"Eve is…you know what? I'm not gonna trash talk her right now" I laughed.
He smiled and nodded, "About that relationship…"
I choked, "I don't want to talk about it" I said.
"Maybe another time" he said.
"Yeah…" Maybe…
"I should go look for Eve" I lied.
"Okay" he nodded.
I began walking up the steps, and as I did, I passed a guy with long brown hair who was tall and carrying a long sword.
"Yo" he stopped me.
"Yeah?"
"Know where I can find the Keyblade Master?" he asked.
"The…who?"
"A kid carrying around a giant key" he sighed.
"OH! Over there" I pointed to where Sora was, "…why?" I asked.
He didn't respond, only walked over to Sora.
I shrugged and walked out the doors and into the next district.
A man ran in front of me, but tripped.
"Are you-" I stopped when I saw a light come out of his chest and a pink heart rise out of him.
My eyes widened as the man's body vanished and one of the ants came out of the ground.
"I can't keep fighting without a weapon" I muttered and looked around, grabbing the closest thing I could find.
Which happened to be a fan.
Two, actually.
They had blades on the end of them and were black.
They had red writing on them.
But I couldn't make it out, and frankly, I didn't have time to.
With two quick slashes, I destroyed the ant.
I smiled in satisfaction and heard screams in the far distance.
I shrugged and ran towards the noise.
I had to go down stairs, and through a door, but I finally found a duck and a dog surrounded by the shadowy ants.
I sighed, I gotta find out what they're called…
I got in front of the duck and dog, "Hey" I smirked and began slashing at the ants.
When I finally finished the duck and dog were standing there in awe.
"What?" I asked.
"Who are you?" the duck asked.
"I’m Evelyn" I smiled.
"Donald" the duck said.
"Goofy" the dog said.
"Cool, alright then, I'll be off" I said and began skipping away.
"EVELYN!" the duck screamed.
I backtracked back to them, "Yessum?" I asked.
"Would…you help us?" they asked.
"Yeah" I said.
"We're looking for the key," Goofy said.
I sighed, "Why is everyone looking for Sora?" I asked.
"YOU KNOW HIM?!" Donald practically screamed.
"Yeah, he's a friend of mine" I smiled.
"This will be a piece of cake," Donald said.
"Excuse me" someone tapped Donald's shoulder.
I saw a tall girl with brown hair and a pink dress.
"Did the king send you?" she asked.
Donald and Goofy nodded and she turned to me.
I looked at the sky, "I sorta…fell," I said.
I seem to be falling out of the sky a lot lately…
She smiled and nodded and motioned for us to all follow her.
