Is Your Life Goal Focused on Forgetting Me?

I got up around noon and my daughter being 1/2 Brian's, she could sleep all day if I let her. I was getting ready to wake her up when my phone started ringing and my daughter was running it to me. "Hello?"

"Andie?"

"Who is this?"

"Brian."

"Why are you calling me?"

"Because it's about time to pull my head out of my ass.:

"Well you should've done that a while ago."

"I know I fucked up, but I want to make amends. I want to be in my kid's life."

"Well your kid has a name."

Olivia comes up to me and tugs on my pant leg. "Mommy?"

"Yes baby girl?"

"Are you talking to daddy?"

"I-I-No."

"Oh okay."

She sulked off into the TV. All of the sudden I hear the Bat Country music video playing. "And' does she know who I am?"

"Yea."

"Can I meet her?"

"I guess. I'm only saying that because she wants to see you."

Olivia comes running in again screaming, "DADDY'S ON TV! DADDY'S ON TV! DADDY'S ON TV!"

"Olivia-Jo. Calm down."

"Sorry mommy."

"It's okay."

"Do I still get to see daddy on my birthday?"

"Yes." She runs back and watches TV. "Brian?"

"Yea?"

"What are you doing later on today?"

"Nothing."

"Do you want to come by before I meet Val?"

"You don't mind?"

"No."

"Alright. I love you."

"Brian. Don't."

"Sorry old habit."

I gave him directions to my place and he's going to be here in 15 minutes. "Olivia!"

"Yes mommy?"

"Go get dressed."

"Okay mommy."

I got her into some jeans and a black Pantera shirt. I got into some jeans as well and
surprisingly I can still fit into my jeans that I know he loved back in high school, and a old
Guns 'N' Roses tee. There's a knock on the door and Olivia goes and answers it before I could get there. "Olivia-"

"Daddy? Mommy, what he doing here?"

"He wanted to come and see you."

She ran behind me. Brian got down to her level. "Hi."

"Hi."

"How old are you?"

"Three."

"What's your name?"

"Olivia-Jo Jan Haner."

"Well I'm glad to meet you Olivia-Jo Jan Haner. I'm-"

"Your Synyster fucking Gates."

Brian laughs and I scold her. "Do you like my music?"

"Yea. I like the Bat song."

"Me too. You know what?"

"What?"

"Your mommy likes that song too."

"Mommy didn't tell me that."

"I know tons of stuff about mommy."

"Really!?"

"Yep."

She comes up from behind me. "Do you know her favorite color?"

"Purple."

"Wow! Mommy can I show Daddy my room?"

"Sure."

She drag him to her room and I swear that was the most amusing thing I've ever seen.

"Mommy! Come save me!"

I rolled my eyes and found Brian tickling her. " Brian let her go."

"Never!"

"Bri...please I need to talk to you."

He looked at me and let her go. Olivia hugged his leg till he picked her up then hugged his
neck for dear life. "Daddy?"

"Hmm?"

"I love you. Please don't leave."

"I won't. Ever."

"Promise."

"Promise."

"Is Mommy still mad at you?"

"I hope not."

I stepped in and told her to go into the livingroom. I then led Syn to the kitchen. "I-"

"Bri-"

"No don't. I just want to say I'm sorry and I understand if you don't want me back. Espectially after I left you-"

"Us."

"-You both for Michelle. I was scared and I missed you. I want to be in her life and as long as I can have that then I'm okay."

"Bri I-"

"Well kiss her already."

"Olivia."

She ran back into the living room. I grabbed him and passonately kissed him. We ended up having a make-out session in the middle on my kitchen till we were interrupted. "Brian, what are you doing here?"
