Forever and Always.

Graduation.

"Good luck." Angela told me giving me a hug

"Thanks." I said in a low voice

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I smiled

"Are you nervous?"

"Yeah I think so."

"You're going to be great out there."

"What if I can't talk."

"Lene, you're going to do just fine."

I nodded and took a deep breath, I really wasn't sure why I was so nervous to give a simple speech I mean, what is there to be nervous of?

Deep breaths Lene.

I thought I had my mind blocked.
I mumbled

You were wrong.

Yeah I can hear that now.

I'm just trying to help you.

Well Edward you're not much of help.

Deep breaths.
He told me again.

I took another deep breath and waited for my name to be called, I was going to go before everybody to get my diploma and say my speech.

"Hey good luck."

"Thanks Ben."

Just a couple of seconds, just a couple of seconds.

Just relax.

I don't want to.

"Now time to hear our valedictorian speak."

There was applaud.

"Lene Ann Smith."

I closed my eyes and opened them again walking to the front of the auditorium, I shook the principals hand and took my diploma.

"Hello." was the first thing that came out of my mouth.

"I want to thank first of all, all of my teachers for being the ones who thought me so many things, and the one's who gave me a proper education, without them I really wouldn't be here."

There was some applause.

"My dad for always telling me the most important I will learn is to be thought."

I just had to thank him, I mean who in their right mind wouldn't thank their parents and it's a normal thing to say.

"High school a place where recess is gone, and you start to make bigger decisions about your life, what you're going to be, a doctor, lawyer, artist, you make all those decisions while you're here you start to think what college you want to go to. But you also meet people, friends, acquaintances, people who will always be in your life and will have an impact no matter how big in size they just will. All I can really say was that this were my best 4 years. Thanks." I said and smiled

There some applause, I smiled again and walked off the stage happy that it was over. Then they started calling the rest of the students one by one until it was over..

"You did it." Edward whispered in my ear

"Like you care."

"Are you still mad?"

"Are you still being a jerk?"

"I told you I was sorry."

"Yeah but in return I ate lunch alone for the last day of school." I spat

"It's not like you wont have other days.."

I rolled my eyes and walked away I was never going to forgive him, Never.

See you're running away.

It's what I do best isn't it.

I stopped dead on my tracks, my eyes widened I couldn't believe it, I was sure I was dreaming or just hallucinating.

"Jacob?" I asked as I smiled

"Uh I have to go."

"Wait don't" I said walking towards him

"Congratulations." He said with a small smile

"You're here." I said touching his cheek

He stepped back automatically, it hurt but at least he was here.

"I have to go."

"Jacob don't I love you."

He shook his head.

"I shouldn't have come, I'm sorry." He told me and turned around

He started to walk away and I walked behind him but people started to walk in front of me and blocking my view from him.

"Jacob wait!" I shouted

But it was too late he was gone, and I didn't know where he had gone, I didn't know why he had come, why he was hurting me so much.
