EDWARD!? I shouted once more in my head.

There was no response, only telling me one thing.

"No Jacob please!"

I ran through the tress trying to find them, to know that Jacob was safe and alive I couldn't let him down I had to save him.

"LENE!" I heard someone shout

"Edward!?"

I kept on running until I bumped into somebody.

"What's wrong?"

"Bella you have to get out of here!"

"What?"

"You're not safe Bella please we need to get you out of here."

"Why were you screaming for Edward."

"Bella there's no time right now."

I took her hand and started to pull her and look for a way out of here.

"Lene what's going on?" She asked as she struggled to keep up with me.

"You're in danger they can't see you."

"Who can't see me?"

"Them! The vampires that are trying to kill Jacob!"

Bella stood frozen all of a sudden, I turned to look at her and gave her a pleading look.

"Please I need to find Jacob, and you being here can be so dangerous."

"How are you going to find him?"

"I don't know but first we have to get you back with the others."

"I can take care of myself."

"I really doubt that right now Bella."

"Just go find Jacob I know what way I came from."

"Are you sure?"

"yeah now hurry."

I let go of her and started running back towards where I though Jacob and Edward had gone as Bella went the other way probably looking for the way out.

Edward please answer me.

But he didn't I was really starting to get scared. I kept on running until I found Edward and Jacob standing still.

"What's wrong?" I asked coming to them

I looked at what they were looking and my heart dropped.

"You must be Ann." A man with black curly hair asked as he grinned

"Let her go." I spoke through gritted teeth

"As I said before a trade."

I looked as the guy covered Bella's mouth preventing her from yelling.

"She has nothing to do with this."

"No but she would be a good snack."

At this Edward's fist went whiter if that was even possible but he was still holding onto Jacob.

"Just let her go." I pleaded

"I'll let her go in exchange of him."

I looked at Jacob who was looking at me, then I looked at Edward who was looking at Bella. I was certain that one of them was going to end up dying.

"Alexander didn't send you for her."

"No but we can't help if we come across a human with such a lovely smell."

We need to exchange.

Lene they're going to hurt Bella.

He can defend himself and Bella can't! he snapped back

"A trade it is." Edward spoke

The guy grinned as he exchanged glances with another man that was standing right next to him.

"NO! There's no exchange!" I shouted

"Oh so what is it going to be?"

"No exchange." I spoke again

"YES!" Edward hissed

Edward started to walk toward the men and Jacob didn't even bother to brake free.

"Jacob!" I shouted taking his arm

"She deserves to live." He told me not looking at me

"No don't do this!"

He knows what's the right thing to do.

"No Jacob please." I was crying now

He was walking to his own death and he didn't even want to fight for it or see how much this was going to hurt me.
