Nicole is unlucky in love and she has been hurt emotionally too many times to count. She's finally had enough though and to leave her recent heartbreak behind her, she moves to a boarding school in England hoping to start fresh. Nicole has a problem and a secret though of how she copes with the pain and it seems as if that problem followed her to England along with the rest of her problems. Her problem being, she's a cutter.

On her first day there, everything seems as if they were going to go well. That is, until she meets her roommate who is a gorgeous English boy. Nicole thought her life was already complicated, but now, it just got even more complicated.
