Ignorance Is Bliss, Cherish It

I made the mistake of forgetting about the creepy I.M, and as soon as I got home from school the next day, I logged onto my AIM, instantly getting an I.M. from 'PansY'.

PansY[3:04p.m.]: Hello again.

PansY[3:05p.m.]: can't I just try and be nice?
IrisxX[3:06p.m.]: well, seeing as you're some stranger I'd prefer you'd leave me alone
PansY[3:06p.m.]: we could changed that..
]IrisxX[3:07p.m.]: change what?
PansY[3:07p.m.]: the strangers part of the situation
IrisxX[3:08p.m.]: i would prefer not to
PansY[3:08p.m.]: oh come on..it'll be fun ; ) I'll start, my name is Frank. What's yours?
]IrisxX[3:09p.m.]: Iris..i don't know why I'm doing this
PansY[3:09p.m.]: haha, how old are you?
IrisxX[3:09p.m.]: 18..you?
PansY[3:10p.m.]: 22...well, that's enough for now..I have to go.
PansY has signed off [3:10p.m.]

I sighed and put up an away message on AIM. I don't know why I told him my name or my age. Well, my screen name is my actual name anyways, so that didn't really matter. But, I still can't believe I talked to someone I don't even know, especially when you hear all that stuff about creepy old guys that end up raping girls they meet on the internet. But I don't know. Though talking to Frank( I know his name now), felt exhilirating knowing that I shouldn't have been talking to him. Plus he had that whole mysterious thing going. Woah. I can't believe I'm actually talking about him like this. He's probably an old pervert. I'll have to make sure I don't talk to him again.
