Real or Fake

Chapter 39

Jenna's POV- Six Months Later

I'm back to being big again, kinda bad and kinda good. I think the good just outweighs the other. We only have two more months until our daughter is born into this world. We have everything ready for her and Sebastien helped it us, and it was more than cute, but at the moment we're working on her room.

Frank's POV

Jenna has a couple months left and I'm beginning to think that she's frustrated about it. Although we've been working on her room, I trying not to
make her work so much.

"Holy crap, I'm so tired." she said sitting on the floor.

"I can finish, you should really rest."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I'll watch Sebastien too."

"I love you and I owe you!" she said kissing me on the lips.

"I love you too." I said kissing her back.

And on she went to take a nap in our room. I continued building the baby's crib when I heard something fall and I looked to see that it was Sebastien.
He was trying to not cry, but eventually he did. I dropped whatever tool that I had in my hand and ran to him.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I was on my chair and I fell and scraped my knee."

"Can I look at it?"

He just lifted his knee. He definitely scraped it and it was all red.

"Let's go to the kitchen and clean that up, okay?"

"Okay." he said, a smile forming on his face.

As we walked out, Jenna was in the hall.

"What happened?" she asked worried.

"He scraped his knee and he's okay, right?"

"Yep, mommy. Don't worry about me."

She giggled.

"Ok, but that's part of my job."

"Maybe you shouldn't worry that much. It was only a scrape."

She gave me the death glare. Oh shit. I shouldn't have said that.

"Only a scrape? It could have been more than that! You know what?
I'm going back to bed. I can't deal with you right now."

I felt terrible now.

"Are you okay daddy?"

"Yeah, mommy is just mad at me."

"Ok."

An hour later, I cleaned up his knee and I finished up the baby's room. It was five, and I thought that I would get dinner ready. I was thinking that maybe Jenna would be happy if I did that. Surprisingly, I learned not to burn food and call it cajun. I've got skills. I'm making fettucine alfredo for all of us. 20 minutes passed and she came out of bed walking into the kitchen.

"Mommy!!" Sebastien said running towards her.

"Hey sweetie, how's your knee?"

"Much better. Daddy's awesome!"

"That's good, I love you." she said roughing up his hair.

"I wuv you too."

He ran off to play again at a safe distance.

"I'm sorry about earlier." I said looking into her eyes.

"I think we were both at fault. You still should've cared about the scrape and I should've calmed down. It's not good for the baby."

"I think so too. I was worried too about the baby, but I did care."

"I love you." she said.

"I love you too."
